Stunning accommodation, Amazing location, Superb Holiday. This is a must visit destination.

You are welcomed by Anne and Stuart, who are genuinely lovely people. They show you around the Gite, which was immaculate. The Gite is much larger than expected, very homely with great character. There are useful information books with the history of the Gite and also tips on things to do in the area. I must say that this trip exceeded all expectations. It's located in a stunning part of Brittany, and you are only a short drive away from some truly beautiful breaches, villages, markets, river walks, etc. This is a must visit location, and one my family is already discussing when we can re book.

A relaxing place to get away.

We received a warm and friendly welcome from Anne and Stuart. The house was spacious (we stayed in Villeberry, the one bedroom gite) and had convenient access to the outdoors. While the gite is in a rural location, Pontrieux is easily reached by car to go to the market or Intermarché. Many other treasures of the area are within a 30 minute drive. It was truly relaxing to spend the day hiking or visiting nearby cities and return to a fully equipped lodging in the peaceful countryside.

Shower cabin is a bit small, otherwise everything was fantastic!

A great base for exploring Cote d'Amor, Brittany's pink granite coast.

A peaceful location, without any through traffic, very well located for exploring this part of Brittany, with brilliant sound-proofing due to insulation of a high standard. Immaculately clean inside, with very tasteful decor and all.mod cons, including a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Friendly proprietors who were genuinely concerned that each guest had a wonderful, memorable stay.(the welcome pack a pleasant surprise and appreciated).

Warm bath

Staying at Gites du Manoir was like getting into a warm bath. A warm welcome by Anne and Stuart, a very cosy and comfortable gite and total peace and quiet. Not far from the highlights of the Côte d'Armor by car, but far enough to sit outside the gite and realise all you can hear is birdsong. Ann also offers delicious cooked meals which you can order 24hrs in advance, which we can highly recommend. We just absolutely loved all of it!

Such a lovely Gite Everything was very good.

If there was a little something to niggle about it would be that the downstairs bedroom in the family Gite that we had, was i little small so the bedside units were tiny, and no chair or anything to rest your clothes on when you undress for bed.

Excellent accommodation in a lovely rural setting.

A comfortable apartment set in a tranquil rural setting. Fitted out to a very high standard with a comfortable lounge area and excellent kitchen facilities. Comfortable bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The friendly hosts met us on arrival with an extensive welcome pack of food and drink items and took care in showing us how all of the apartments equipment worked . Although set in in a quiet location there was easy access to all of the towns on this part of the pink granite coast and to many local sites of interest..

A wonderfully relaxing holiday with lots of places to visit

The gite was absolutely beautiful and had everything and more than we could need. We were welcomed by the owners and really look forward to returning. The gite was immaculate and the duvets the best I have ever come across. The area was so quiet that we slept wonderfully every night.

Brilliant

The flat was spacious and light and very comfortable. It was extremely well equipped with everything we needed. Although it was in the middle of the quiet countryside with lovely views on all sides, it had easy access to the coast and local towns, villages and tourist sites. It was an absolute delight to return to the peace and comfort of the gite after a day out.

High quality gite in a great location

High quality gite. Fantastic conversion of an old farm building. Property superbly equipped with great outside space and views over the surrounding countryside. We really enjoyed exploring the local villages and coastline. Even in August it was so quiet. Stuart and Ann are great hosts and have a real passion about their customers experience.

Exceptional

This is a lovely and calm place. The Gite is fantastic - very carefully renovated, with wonderful furniture and really comfortable beds. Each of the two bedrooms has a very modern bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped. The large living room is great for hanging around during the evening. We liked specifically the large garden and the very nice terrace where we found chairs, table and sunbeds for sun-bathing. Our kids liked specifically the old cottage for playing table tennis. Also the place is well-located. It invites for nice walks in the rural surroundings. Within 20-30 minutes car drive you can reach a number of lovely sandy beaches and explore lots of wonderful picturesque villages and small towns (such as Treguier, Paimpol, Perros-Guirec, Pontrieux, La Roche-Jaudy).

Wonderful and fully equiped holiday house, lovely hosts (Anne & Stuart), great environment

A very nice and comfortable/luxureous holiday house, fully equiped (even with dish washer), comfortable beds, bed linnen and towels are provided so no need to take this with you. Ideal for your relaxed family holiday. Anne and Stuart are the most caring and lovely hosts we have ever met and do anything to make your stay a memorable holiday. Tip: if you want to enhance your holiday feeling -> try out Anne's cooking skills!!! Meals can be provided at your house (you only need to heat up the food in the oven or on the cooker). The desserts (chocolate cake, carrot tart) are to die for! Everything is freshly prepared by Anne who makes as much as possible use of own organically grown vegetables. A must do! As for the environment, the Côtes d'Armor is one of the most beautiful areas of the Breton regio and there is plenty of things to discover. Also, a multiple choice of fine beaches is only a 30min drive away from the gîte.

There are hardly any negatives that come to mind. One point that caused some small discomfort is that we regularly noticed a distinct "sewage" odor in the bathrooms. Mind you, the house is in the countryside and not linked to the main sewage system (there is a septic tank) so this is probably not something the hosts can resolve themselves.

Hosts were very hospitable, welcoming and spoke both french and english. They had lots of nice suggestions of what to do in the area. The gite itself was very modern and facilitated in every need. Very comfortable beds. Highly recommended!

- to live some days in a typical Breton house! - a very nice grass (with flowers) for kids to play - nice furniture and very confortable bedrooms, each one with its bathroom

Quietness, with a mild sunny climate in complete comfortable privacy

The quietness, especially now when I am home again I am still dreaming of it. Time is standing still there. At that particular location the climate is mild not too hot and not too cold. Excellent for older people or people with small children. We also liked the warm hospitality of the owners. It as an excellent stay. In half hour to an hour you can visit a lot of interesting places such as Perros Guirec and Paimpol, Tregastel, Port Blanc all located on the beach. And even for people who are not really keen on driving around there was a big garden. In our gites there even where three bathrooms... I stay long to remember.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été touchés par la gentillesse et l’attention des hôtes. Anne et Stuart savent créer une atmosphère chaleureuse et bienveillante qui met immédiatement à l’aise. Leur accueil restera un très beau souvenir. Le gîte est magnifique. On y est au calme avec un confort moderne et des équipements complets et de qualité. Tout est pensé dans les moindres détails, d’une propreté irréprochable, pour que l’on s’y sente comme chez soi… en mieux. La situation est idéale pour découvrir les trésors environnants et profiter des différentes côtes tout en ayant la sérénité d’un cadre paisible en fin de journée. Nous ne pouvons que le recommander chaleureusement.

Erholsamer Urlaub im Herzen der Bretagne

Schön abgelegen, bestens zum Entspannen. Insgesamt hat nichts gefehlt, was wir vermisst haben. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne, große, saubere, voll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Extrem liebe, nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter.

Es gibt kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm, aber das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört, da wir das Fernsehen eh nicht genutzt hatten. Aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage ist ein Auto erforderlich (Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür)

Excellent séjour dans les Côtes d'Armor !

Gîte grand et très confortable, avec des hôtes parfaits :) Emplacement idéal au calme, dans la campagne bretonne, pas très loin de la côte de Granit Rose. Très bien équipé et décoré, literie très confortable, c'était un excellent séjour !

C'est anecdotique, mais la réception des chaines tv est sans doute perfectible.

Äusserst nette Begüssung und Willkommenspaket. Sehr charmantes Häuschen, super Ausstattung, schön eingerichtet. Schöner Sitzplatz und Garten mit viel Platz zum Spielen. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und zu Hause hier.

Niet twijfelen, gewoon doen!

Dit is een geweldige plek om tot rust te komen. We hebben daarbij ook genoten van de enorme gastvrijheid. Zeer fijn, lief koppel dat met heel veel liefde deze Gites proper onderhoud. Wij zouden hier sowieso durven terugkomen.
