Marina Port & Beach-Apartment

The flat is about 20-25 min by train from Barcelona, with the train station in close proximity to the property. The flat offers views from the living room over the local port and the sea. The flat was clean and is reasonably furnished. The closest beach (El Masnou) is only a few minutes away, the one in Ocata (15min walk) is much better. The person who met us at the property was professional and helpful.

The main bedroom does not have any windows. The property is not fully air conditioned. There is one air conditioning unit in the living room but nothing in the bedrooms. Furthermore, the external part of the AC is on a small semi-enclosed balcony, outside the kitchen without sufficient air evacuation. This had two consequences: the AC unit could not lower the temperature in the living room below 28 deg Celsius when we stayed there, and the kitchen became very hot - too hot to use. The flat is noisy due to the proximity to the train line, so it is difficult to sleep with the windows open. Due to these considerations, this flat is probably best booked, outside the hot summer months.

Comfortable place with convenient access to close by train station connecting Masnou to Barcelona and/or Girona.

As much as it is convenient to be situated close by train station it comes as an potential issues due to noise which can be heard from passing trains, especially in the evening hours.

Great space and facilities. Great location (close to the beach and train station).

No access to the roof terrace during our stay, due to a broken lock (no refund offered and the late arrival fee was still charged). Even though we visited in mid-June, many of the restaurants on the marina were closed at night, although enough were open.
