Lovely.
Ideal location. Rustic.
Nothing major but from advertising thought it was located in a vineyard. Although it was idealic, it is a suburb out of Florence. Also pool is not inground. No poolside just an over ground small pool

1 Star - Unfriendly Staff & Dodgy Practices Ruined Our Stay
Nothing. When you go for a vacation you probably expect at the bare minimum friendly service, roof and hot water. The place just had a roof out of those 3.
We were asked to text 1 hour before arrival - which we did, making it clear we were in a hurry. When we arrived and rang the bell, the woman (Maddalena) opened the door with an unfriendly look like we were bothering her. No greeting, no warmth. I mentioned the reservation under my wife’s name, and she told us to bring the luggage in, then pushed us aside to check in another family - despite knowing we were short on time. The check-in felt like being lectured by a strict teacher. She insisted on slowly explaining how to use basic things like the air conditioning - as if we’d never seen one before. It was condescending and wasted more time. We were asked to pay €60 extra per dog which is fine despite being much more than any other hotels around Europe BUT cash only and no invoice. When I pushed for a proper invoice multiple times, she suddenly said she had to “call the owner.” Only after I mentioned that not issuing a factura (invoice) is illegal did her tone change and she handed one over. Very shady behavior - a clear attempt to avoid taxes. To top it off, there was no hot water the first night, and they have ridiculous rules like expecting guests to take out their own trash. Sorry, I’m a guest, not your cleaning staff. The apartment itself is fine, but nothing special. Don’t be fooled by the pictures - the place is average at best. What really ruined the experience was Maddalena managing it. Cold, unhelpful, and hostile from the start. We’ve stayed in many places across Tuscany and Italy with warm, hospitable hosts. This was the total opposite. Avoid this place - there are far better options with friendlier people and less shady behavior.

The stay of a lifetime!
No breakfast provided, but we did purchase a pizza party that was provided upon our arrival. It was made in the traditional brick oven outside. So many different kinds of pizza and so, so delicious! We also participated in a cooking class that took most of our second day. It was fantastic! We picked the vegetables and herbs from the garden and we cooked everything from scratch and then we were served our meal. Very exquisite!! Delicious!! And we learned so much about Italian food and traditions here at the Villa. Costanza and Maddalena were always so very informative, and helpful, and so kind!

Very nice stay! We would like to come back.
The host is very kind and helpful to find a solution for our late check-in request as well as for letting us leaving our luggages there after the check-out. Thank you very much, Maddalena! The room is nicely decorated in Tuscany style. It’s surrounded by a big garden.
Mosquitoes- a lot of them if you don’t close the door immediately. However they provided us with spirals to kill the mosquitoes and it worked as expected.

The host was really welcoming and was very flexible in accommodating a last minute change.
Host gave me instructions on where to find the keys to the villa as we arrived very late
There was nothing not to like. The villa was traditionally decorated and the main bedroom had an amazing roof. Beautiful views from the windows.

Peaceful stay in stunning villa.
The villa is beautifully appointed and well maintained, with lovely grounds we got to enjoy when weather was good. It was an easy walk to get to nearby train station and into Florence. The hiking near the property is also stunning. Thanks very much to Costanza and Maddalena for our wonderful visit.

Come here for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay, to recharge and use as a home base
The person who met us, Laura, was awesome! She took her time to describe the villa, the neighborhood and answer all the questions we had upon arrival. She really helped make out stay a stupendous experience. She would check in with us, assist with dinner reservations and suggestions on transportation and travel in the area. The rooms we had at the villa were spacious, well appointed and comfortable. There was not much of a living room, which didn't matter as there was ample places to sit outside our apartment as well as on the grounds. The people staying at the villa were friendly and came from a wide variety of places. It was great sharing about our trips and even ended up adjusting our itinerary slightly based upon our conversations. We didn't want to stay in Florence, but wanted to be able to easily travel there. It is a 15 min. walk (5 min. drive, with no problem finding parking) and a 45 minute train ride. Once we figured out how to validate the train ticket before entering the train, the rest of the travel was easy.
We were excited to participate in a cooking class. However, the owner was sick and not available. This was a small disappointment. Everything else was great.

Incredible and would recommend to everyone!
Everything, the location was spectacular, a piece of Tuscan countryside in the middle of a town! Close to Florence city by car or train, amazing views and experience. Incredible owner and extremely helpful and friendly! Definitely would stay again!
There was nothing we didn’t like!
