About this apartment rental

Location! Location! Location!

This 2bdr 2ba ski condo is on the ski run corner and the 1st floor so it is in the absolute best spot for ski (or ride) in and out to the giant steps ski lodge (and access to chairs 2 and 3).

You can watch the riders in the tubing park through the corner windows in the warmth of the cozy living room. Enclosed parking is directly below the unit. There is a shared jacuzzi hot tub and sauna at the club house between buildings 1 and 2 that also has a game room.

There is covered parking in the enclosed garage that is under the condo (note: 80" max vehicle height), and limited outdoor parking at the end of the building

Tubing area and snow play area is just outside the door, with lighted night skiing on chair 3 and in the tubing park on weekend and holiday nights.

This corner unit has additional balcony and window space compared to all interior units. Unit is fully equipped for cooking and has cable tv in both bedrooms, as well as in the living room.

The ski resort's Giant Steps day lodge now features live music on many Friday and Saturday nights and you can easily walk there.

This unit is very comfortable and convenient for families. It may not be as fancy as some units, but it is clean and cozy. Living room also has a blue tooth sound system that is connected to the tv for improved sound. The couch has dual recliners, there is a Lazy Boy rocker/recliner, and an over sized love seat.

Please, no smoking or pets in the unit.

NOTE: This condo DOES NOT have reliable internet access. There is wifi available in the clubhouse between buildings 1 and 2. There is a T-Mobile cellular hotspot but it has a 50 GB data limit each month.

But if you need dedicated wifi internet access in the condo, this is not the unit that you should rent.
However, there is reliable cell phone service from the major providers if you have your own hotspot service on your cell phone.

There is a DVD player with some DVD titles, and the TV is capable of streaming content if you bring a hotspot to connect to it. There is no loner any cable tv service at any of the Giant Steps units.

There are also some (analog) games and puzzles, and more coat hooks than you have likely ever seen in one place:)

Book the best location on the actual mountain that most skiers/boarders prefer to use.

Note: Giant Steps properties are NOT wheelchair accessible and/or ADA compliant due to the nature of our parking garage and are privately owned residential condo dwellings

Reserve early for best selection of dates.

This trip was one of the best trips that our family has ever taken together. A lot of what made the trip so great was the condo that we stayed in. Our family skied and snowboarded together for 4 days. The sofas and recliner pictured in the family room are SO comfortable. The table is large enough to eat, and play most all boardgames on. I absolutely LOVED watching the snow showers through the windows, such a beautiful and scenic winter view. We brought all of our food to this condo, and ate out zero times during this holiday. You can ski home to this condo for a lunch break, and then decide to put your gear on again and return to the mountain for more skiing. We parked our car safely in the underground garage once, and didn't have to use it again until check out to go home. Richard, the host, is super easy to work with, and he provides detailed information explaining everything, and answers your questions thoroughly. For example, we brought our own "Star Trek Deep Space 9", and "Dr. Who" DVDs to watch in the evening after skiing together. After a day skiing and boarding the terrain serviced by chair 5, relaxing together in the super comfy reclining sofas while watching a show was just heaven. We brought our own portable humidifier which helped SO much. However, Richard had one in his condo which he suggested using. Our family had quality family time, lots of exercise out in nature, minimal screens, ate healthy food, and we loved every minute of it!

The host was very communicative and friendly. There was ample space for our family, everything was clean. Location was great, parking was easy, access was easy. I wish there was wi-fi but we were informed beforehand so we were prepared. A couple small wishlist items would be trashbags. although we were informed beforehand, its something that is easily forgotten when packing, cheap enough to stock and helps to keep the place clean. Also, having non-stick cookware with metal cooking tools leads to scratched Teflon. maybe some plastic coated spatula or tongs? (minor, i know, i'm just type A and am mindful of these things).

Great location for intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders! Hop on your skis/boards and ride straight to the chairlift! Stop by the condo for lunch and get back on the slopes without missing a beat! The owner’s boot/glove tree is ingenious—we all had dry gear every morning even though some of us came back with soaking wet gear every night.

The location can’t be beat but the condo is so outdated. Had no lighter, toaster, WiFi, can opener. Just missing a lot of essentials. Every surface is covered in nick nacks so it felt very crowded. Probably wouldn’t rent again. But we had an incredible time sledding right on the tube area, playing in snow right out our window and skiing was epic!
