What a lovely suirprise! While Bananas is about a mile outside the city of Altagracia, it's a beautifully maintained privately-owned hotel with large private rooms and private baths. Lovely staff, and the wifi was excellent. Free breakfast was included in the mornings. Beds were large and comfortable. It's one of the best deals I've found in almost two years on the road.
No complaints from me.

This hostel is in a gorgeous location, so peaceful and tranquil. Beautiful views of the banana farm and such a relaxing place. The breakfast is delicious, the staff are exceptional and go above and beyond to accommodate you. The room was cleaned during the day. We left our kindle when we checked out and the help we received to get it back has been amazing and so kind!! The value for money is crazy, don’t miss this place!!

Good value for my money. The staff is really friendly and helpful for recommendations. I think this place is perfect for someone extending it's stay in ometepe. By having a scooter or motorcycle, the rest of the island stays accessible for a 20-30minutes ride, so the location was not an issue.
The place is peaceful, and you can get a good rest.
They do room service every day, to make sure everything is clean and in order. They are receptive and understanding, so whatever the issue, they are open to listen and talk in a positive manner.
The breakfast is not really elaborate, it is healthy. I had a combination of mostly fruits, pancake, eggs, and a supprisingly great tasting coffee, enough to start a day well.
There was a subtle smell coming from the bathroom's pipes, but i simply put something on top of the shower drain and it was fixed. No smells at all. They told me it will be fixed, but i share this hack here with you so that you can enjoy this room in the mean time.

The breakfast was very good. I told Efrain that I couldn’t eat eggs or meat and he gave me a very nice fruit platter. Wonderful! Fresh from his garden.
I wish I had more time to stay!
