Casa Gusber 2

The house is well equipt with space, large backyard with two chaise lounges, lots of sunshine and good parking. Staff was helpful, friendly and responsive. Located in a lovely neighborhood outside town of El Paso, within a pleasant walking distance of two “Tiendas” where we purchased fresh bread and goods along with a Cafe Con Leche. One can walk or drive to the nearby volcanic visitor’s center to get a parking permit then drive (within 15 minutes) up to the Cumbrecite to see views of the crater, plus hiking trails. We would return at a warmer time of year (perhaps mid March to mid October?)

February was cold, but the provided electric space heaters did little to warm the house and tile floors.

Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und gut eingerichtet.

Wegen dem Elektrosmog konnten wir in den Eisenrahmen-Betten schlecht schlafen. Wir mussten desshalb frühzeitig abreisen. Die verdeckte Videoüberwachung im Wohnraum ist ein no go. (ist veraboten).

Carmen the owner was there to greet us and show us around, some fresh fruit on the table. Nice and friendly. The neighbourhood was very quiet and just a short drive to some nice restaurants.

We picked the one of the coldest times to visit La Palma, it was absolutely freezing. Couldn't really appreciate the garden.

We loved our stay in Casa Gusber 2, clean and cosy, quiet street, nice garden with own parking and the location/views between the mountains is simply amazing.
