It was a bit of a walk from the train stations but if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk with luggage it’s fine!

A really lovely little house. Very much Japanese style, which is what we were looking for. Super clean. Small, but very well equiped. We loved the tiny bath, with perfect temperature water on tap. The little shower was also surprisingly adequate for our tall family, with great water pressure. The massage chair worked well and out kids fought over who would get to sit in it next. The dining table was big and spacious for a family of 5. We were worried about not having a sofa, but the chairs were very comfortable and we were all happy hanging out there. No smart tv, but that was not something we needed. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms equiped with super comfortable futons and cozy duvets. It is a bit out of town so you do need to jump on the train to get to the sights, but the train station is just around the corner, as are a couple of grocery stores, where you will discover that even 7 11s have decent food in Japan. The simple vietnamese restaurant nearby had the best pho I have ever tasted, and we have spent a fair few weeks in Vietnam. All round, a great choice for a family if you don't mind the 20 minute train journey into town.
