Phong Nha Homestay

We had a really great stay here. The place was comfortable, well located, and everything was as described. But what truly made the difference was the incredible kindness and support from our host. During our stay, we faced some unexpected difficulties, and she went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect — helping us with logistics, making calls, and even assisting us in recovering some important belongings. She was always available, calm, and genuinely caring, without ever asking for anything in return. It made a stressful situation much easier for us, and we are truly grateful for that. If you’re looking for a place with not only good accommodation but also a host you can trust and rely on, we highly recommend staying here. Thank you again for everything 🙏

Great location in the centre of phong nha. Staff were able to organise a room for us to check into during the night, even though our room wasn’t ready until the following day.

The address on booking.com is incorrect. We arrived by night bus at 3am and walked 20 minutes to the middle of nowhere which was the address listed on the site, only to walk back to 5 minutes from the bus drop off which is where the accomodation is located. The motorbike rental is very cheap which is a bonus, however, we rented for two days and the morning of the second day the bike wouldn’t start. They provided us with a different bike that ended up breaking down a few hours later when we were away from the accommodation. We attempted to call the property for assistance but they wouldn’t answer, instead they were texting us as if we weren’t operating the bike correctly. It took a local man to reach them on the phone and explain the bike was totally broken for them to send another bike out to collect us. The walls are very thin, and there were children running around and screaming until late into the evening

Location. Situated at the main road, but well isolated from noise with good windows

They gave a room with mold on one wall. They said it wasn’t mold, but it was. I asked for another room and got it. No breakfast or coffee. They rented me a scooter which broke down. They came to pick me up. Part of the experience, not a big deal, but I would not repeat a stay there
