Villa Oleandro

The villa and pool were very clean and spotless. It was a very cosy place to stay with good airconditioning (very much appreciated in this weather :D) Dario and his family were great hosts! Always ready when we had some questions and eager to help.

We stayed at Villa Oleandro from 6th to 16th August 2019 as a family of 6, and what can we say.... our whole experience dealing with Angelo and Dario was fantastic. The villa is beautiful, clean, and very well kept. The pictures don't do it justice. The pool was absolutely brilliant and was cleaned at least twice during our stay. The colour changing light which came on at night was fantastic for a late night swim and gave a very cool ambience to the whole area. There's a large barbecue and seating area away from the main terrace which meant that you don't smoke out the place whilst you're cooking on the BBQ. Whenever we had a question or needed help Angelo and Dario were only too glad to assist. We really can't say enough kind words about these guys they were brilliant from start to finish. Alcamo Marino is not very touristy at all (which was just what we wanted) but has enough mini markets and restaurants to cater for everyone. Cafe Piazente is only a few minutes walk and serves everything from freshly cooked and filled croissants, to a nice cold beer and a Pane Cunzanto sandwich for an evening chill out watching the world go by. Segesta temple was a very simple 25 minute drive away and if you're visiting Sicily is a breathtaking must visit place. Only 6 euros each as well so doesn't break the bank. Castellammare Del Golfo is 6km down the beach and is paxcked with handmade craft stalls (in the evenings) and lots of restaurants offering a wide variety of locally sourced foods. You can also get boat tours from the harbour - we chose Zingaromare Tours and they were great. The best 30 euros we spent during our stay! Overall Villa Oleandro was a fantastic choice. We're planning to visit Sicily again when we can and will definitely be staying there again. Thanks Angelo and Dario, you really did help make our holiday brilliant.
