Villa Paradiso

Groot, praktisch huis bovenaan steile weg. Mooi terras om het huis. Fijn zwembad. nb Je kunt niet naar het strand lopen, maar is maar 5 min met de auto. Schoon! Vriendelijke eigenaren. Genoeg leuke dorpjes in de omgeving en veel leuke/goede restaurants. Onze drie kids zijn oa gaan kitesurfen vlakbij Marsala bij een hele mooie kitespot.

Beneden geen airco in twee slaapkamers. Als je deze s nachts koel wilt krijgen/houden, moet je de airco langere tijd aan laten staan (nb hierdoor moesten wij na twee weken € 30 energiekosten bijbetalen). Aparte keuken met afwasmachine, tweede koelkast en gasfornuis (en met derde badkamer) is prima, maar wel erg warm! Veel mieren maar met mierenspul (gekocht bij Eurospin op 10 min afstand) redelijk beheersbaar.

Fajny basen i ogród, dom duży i czysty, właściciele pomocni.

Brak klimatyzacji w sypialniach na dole, kuchnia letnia atakowana przez ogromne mrówki :( Były wszędzie.

La maison est très grande, fonctionnelle, et agréable. Elle est propre et bien tenue. La terrasse faisant tout le tour de la maison est super! L'accueil est chaleureux, et tout s'est bien passé :-)

Il manquait quelques équipements utiles, comme un lave-vaisselle (et aussi... des petites cuillers!, ou une spatule en plastique pour ne pas racler le fond des poêles, ce que nous avons nous-même complétés). Le WI-FI est très lent.

The villa is well kept and clean. The pool was warm, and the grounds are very spacious. With 8 of us staying, it didn’t feel over crowded. If you have a hire car and are willing to drive, the location is lovely and peaceful. If you are looking for sight seeing or don’t want to drive, this is not the location for you.

The property is described as beachfront. This is misleading as although you can see the sea from the garden, it’s quite a difficult walk with an incredibly steep hill along a fast moving road. Definitely not suitable for older guests or children. A taxi to the beach was €30 for a 3 minute drive! There are no local shops so a car is definitely a necessity, especially as no essentials such as toilet roll, bread, milk etc are included. The property is described with air conditioning. The only unit is in the living area which works well but all bedrooms were uncomfortably hot, especially those upstairs. We were asked not to use the indoor kitchen. The outdoor kitchen had no hot running water so had to wash up inside and carry everything back outside after. The outside oven also only had one shelf, making it difficult to cook for 8 of us.
