we prepared our own breakfast.
We were asked to be silent from 9PM, as the pilgrims from next door would be sleeping by then. However, towards midnight those pilgrims came home making lots of noise to wake us from our sleep.

Host is very friendly. Lot of nice details in the apartment. There is really something special about this place, it forces you to slow down and relax. Especially the garden is very cosy. The apartment was clean, well equipped. Parking on the street was ok, not so many places to park but we always managed to find a spot. In general we were happy with this apartment, very good deal in this area.
We booked this apartment because we needed second bedroom for our child to sleep in (our child likes to sleep in quiet closed room). Unfortunatelly we did not get the second bedroom, not even after we tried to explain it to the owner. Some of the pans/pots in the kitchen need replacement.

Well, everything! It's really great. Marcellos warm welcome, the equipment, the house itself, the garden... it was one of the most wonderful stays on our long journey. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more (ok, maybe a few smaller pots would be cool 😉), there's a big, strong dining table and little helpful tips everywhere. We also liked the sustainable living idea. The fireplace was nice to sit close to, even though it was too warm to fire it up. The bathroom is spacious with a big shower. All together we were really feeling like home and like living in a castle!
It's a good place to visit many sites like Martina Franca, Alberobello, Loccorotondo, Matera, ...
We'll definitely be back. Mille Grazie!
As almost everywhere on our vacation we didn't get along with the mattress. Maybe our backs are getting too old?
