Very clean but lacking privacy

I really enjoyed this hostel. It’s honestly the cleanest one I stayed at in Thailand. They are constantly cleaning, which makes the whole place feel fresh and comfortable. The common areas are great and easy to relax in. You can also rent scooters directly there, which I really appreciated. The location is excellent, with the beach about a solid 15-minute walk away. It’s also possible to book excursions to the Surin and Similan Islands directly from the hostel, and the prices are really good compared to what it usually costs to go there.

The beds didn’t have curtains, so there was no real privacy. I always find it disappointing when hostels don’t make the effort to add curtains to the bunk beds.

I carry a very big suitcase with me and she helped me to carry that downstairs. 3.This hostel is 2hours way from the airport so I really suggest to book the pick-up service from the owner!

Everything is satisfying but you have to know that there is no elevator and the 4people’s room is rather smaller.

Decent location nice staff, needs curtains.

The location is great, the staff are wonderful andy score would of been higher if there were privacy curtains on the bed. Having an old man opposite laying with his book in his boxers just wasn't what I wanted to see. The beds were slighty hard too.

My fav hostel

The cleaners come everyday to clean the hostel. They have a decent kitchen so I cooked basic thai curry and breakfast to save money too. I liked this place and wanted to surf so I stayed there for two weeks, which is the longest stay at a hostel in my life. I felt comfortable there ;)

The reception area/ a dining space can emphasize the sound. You can hear ppl talking in rooms upstairs. Maybe something that you can improve even for a better place to stay? :)

Lovely stay

Really nice hostel. Comfortable beds, everything clean and the location is perfect for going to the beach, walking to restaurants and also very easy to take the bus or book transportation to other places.

The only bad thing is that there's only one toilet/shower per room. But there is a wc by the reception.

Good value for money

- probably the cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in so far (in SE Asia) - very friendly staff - free snacks and drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, water..) available by the reception - small balcony that you can use to dry your things - A/C in the room - plugs and light by each bed - lockers - basic kitchen and fridge that you can use - close to 7- eleven and market (open every second day)

- no curtains by beds - you feel when someone moves in the bed - there are only two dormitories- with 4 and 6 beds; if you get one with 6 beds the lockers are half size of the ones in the other room (I could fit my backpack easily in the locker in small dorm but when I moved to the other one, I could not do it

Very comfortable hostel. Super clean. There is everything you may need and even more. Comfortable bed and pillow, Snow White bedsheets, spacious refrigerator, kitchen, snacks, drinking water and snacks for free. very nice chilling area, suitable for digital nomads.

I loved my stay, but still there are few things that can be improved: towels are not absorbing, there are no curtains and drain smell in the bathroom, that can be solved by closing the shower hole with the trash bin.

Good value for money!

1) The price for the rooms is affordable for backpackers to camp in for a night in Khao Lak. 2) The staff and the guests are friendly. 3) The beds are comfortable to sleep in.

1) The hostel toilet is incomplete with necessary amenities such as hand soap, shampoos and mats. 2) The towels that were provided do not absorb water at all. Hence, you'll still be required to use your own towels to dry yourself after a shower. 3) The maximum number of guests per room is 6 pax, which makes the room crowded.

The staff was friendly, very welcoming ans helpful with information. The rooms were very clean. A fridge to keep food and drinks in. Great location for food and entertainment. Only a short walk to the beach.

The only thing I can even think of is, it might be more comfortable at times if the beds had curtains.

Gift, the owner, is super sweet, friendly and helpful. she helped me arrange a tour to surin islands on a short notice and also help me with transport to the airport. The hostel is clean and there’s a kitchen that’s also clean (didn’t use it but I did check it out). Would definitely stay here again if I come back! :D

I was the only one in the hostel, which was very comfortable as I had a private room. Would have been nice to meet people though, but I gues Khao Lak just doesn't have the backpacker vibe. It is great to go diving here though!

Nice clean hostel close to everything :)

Although I only stayed one night I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel :) the staff were lovely and very helpful. All the rooms were very clean and there is a kitchen you can use also :) the hostel is a 15 min walk to the beach and close to many bars and restaurants

The owner is lovely and helpful. She provided very detailed information about everything! Plus she is super kind to give me local Thai dessert and discount on a motor bike rental even if the rate was already cheap at the first place! I'll definitely stay here again when I go to Khaolak😊

The cleanest hostel ever

This was the most cleanest hostel I’ve ever been. Everything super clean and bright. The girl in the reception she’s so kind and friendly. She’s a really good English and could help me with every single question (places recommendations, buses, how to get other cities, etc). The hostel is just right in front of Tsunami Memorial Museum. Also they’ve a kitchen that you can cook by yourself. It helps a lot. I highly recommend to stay here. See ya ☺️
