Casa Sentir a Maia

The house is provided with all you need for a perfect holiday, also a dedicated private parking for our car. There is a terrace to enjoy ocean’s view. The house is nice, very clean and bright. The Host was very nice with us, he provided a warm welcome when we arrived with some local food and he was always available to share useful info with us.

Joao was a friendly host who greeted us on arrival and dropped by the night before departure. Maia is a cute town that was fun to walk around, especially down the multicoloured steps to the sea. The villa itself was pretty tiny but clean and well-equipped. The air conditioning worked well in the main room, but you have to leave the bedroom doors open to benefit from the cooling at night. There was a back patio with a tranquil view of trees and sea, and a charcoal BBQ (which we didn't use). We especially appreciated the goody basket!

It felt a bit cramped - you have to be very close and comfortable with your travel partners!

Een volledig ingericht huisje met 2 slaapkamers, zeer netjes onderhouden. De lokale medewerker is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er is een prive parking op 100 m stappen. Maia ligt op een erg goede plaats om het eiland te bezoeken, zowel het noordwesten als het noordoosten, als Furnas, Fogo Ribeira Grande. Het is een rustig dorp bij de zee, maar met voldoende winkeltjes en eet- en drinkgelegenheden.
