La Jolie Vigneronne

It was perfect, everything from the booking to the communication with the owners, to the location which was exactly what we wanted. It was a really friendly small town with everything we needed, with great places to eat and lovely wander Everything was nearby or accessible by foot, bus, bike, if you did not want to use the car. The house had everything we needed and more, and the owners were so helpful. It was really peaceful and the church clock tower gave us just enough connection with time to stay mindful but allowed us to forget about being a slave to the usual confines of time! I was a little concerned the teenagers may regret not having a pool but it actually increased their enjoyment as there was no pressure to be outside in the heat and we simply explored the local area and enjoyed the terraces and the overall layout of the house.
