The setting was superb: tranquil in a countryside region, conveniently close to Alnwick. It is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys outdoor pursuits. Numerous historical sites and castles are in the vicinity. The hosts, Gillian and Stephen, were exceptionally accommodating and supportive when we arrived late. They were also very easy to reach whenever we required assistance. The house was tidy and cozy, and the beds were comfortable.
As people who like to make food ourselves, we missed kitchenware. It would be extremely beneficial to have additional kitchenware, as well as one or two extra pans and small plates.

It’s very spacious, and has everything that you need minus food. Nice and clean and has a homely feel to the place too.
