Villa Andriana & Villa Elena - Beachfront Pool Villas

Prachtige locatie direct aan het strand. De villa beschikt over een eigen tuin met ligbedden, een zwembad, jacuzzi en buitendouche. Vanuit de accommodatie geniet je van een schitterend uitzicht over de zee. Het water is kristalhelder en uitstekend geschikt om direct voor de deur te snorkelen. Christina, de eigenaresse, verdient een speciale vermelding. Zij is bijzonder vriendelijk, gastvrij en betrokken. Om de paar dagen komt zij langs om het beddengoed te verschonen en te informeren of alles naar wens is. Dat persoonlijke contact draagt sterk bij aan het vakantiegevoel. Direct naast de villa bevindt zich een taverne die eveneens door de familie wordt gerund. Hier kun je uitstekend terecht voor een lunch, diner of een cappuccino op het terras wanneer je geen zin hebt om zelf te koken of naar een restaurant te rijden. De combinatie van de accommodatie en de taverne maakt het verblijf extra comfortabel. De laatste kilometers naar de accommodatie verlopen via een onverharde weg die minder goed begaanbaar is dan de geasfalteerde hoofdwegen. Dit is echter gebruikelijk voor veel stranden op Zakynthos. Met een normale personenauto is de locatie prima bereikbaar; rustig rijden vanwege enkele kuilen in de weg is voldoende. Een speciale 4x4 of AWD is zeker niet nodig. Doordat het strand onderdeel uitmaakt van een beschermd natuurgebied waar schildpadden ’s nachts hun eieren leggen, sluit het restaurant iedere avond om 21.00 uur. Hierdoor keert de rust volledig terug en voelt het strand in de avonduren vrijwel als een privéstrand. Dat maakt deze locatie bijzonder voor wie op zoek is naar rust, natuur en een unieke strandervaring.

Posizione fantastica e non così difficle da raggiungere come detto nelle altre recensioni, su una delle spiagge più belle dell'isola. La piscinetta è stata adorata dai bambini che non volevano mai uscire. Bisogna organizzarsi col cibo, perchè la sera i ristoranti intorno sono chiusi e il primo market è distante

La casa all'interno necessita di essere ristrutturata. I mobili sono molto vissuti e cucinare è difficile perchè gli strumenti sono pochi e poco funzionali. Anche la pulizia andrebbe migliorata

This accommodation is right on Dafni Beach where the turtles come to lay their eggs in the evening during the summer. Therefore there is no touristic rush in the evening because the beach is closed after 9pm in the season. The villa is divided in two separated homes and each of it has its own outdoor sitting area and sunbeds on the beach. We appreciated a shower there. The small pool is cleaned every couple of days as well as the villa. A garbage is taken every day. As the location is too far from the shops, we were happy to have a full fridge with all basic food you need for a breakfast and snacks. There is a great taverna next to the villa and as it belongs to one family, we could stay on our terrace and they brought our lunches and dinners there. This is really useful for families with small children. Unfortunately we missed a microwave oven very much. When we wanted to make some food hot, we had to do this on the pan. The owner has promised to buy some :-) Also, the kitchen equipment was incomplete and it would deserve to check this out and complete it for the occupancy of six persons, but we were able to deal with this somehow. And this is probably the only thing that made our stay not 100%, but 95%. Christina, the owner is very helpful and the whole family very kind and friendly.
