Hotel Limni

Hotel Limni is an exceptional place to stay and a perfect base for discovering this beautiful and often overlooked part of northern Greece. It is surrounded by the renowned Amyntaio wine-growing region, with excellent wineries and vineyards only minutes away, where you can taste wonderful local wines, grapes and seasonal fruits. The hotel is also within easy reach of important archaeological sites, including the ancient settlement of Petres and ancient Pella. Florina, Amyntaio, Edessa and the nearby ski fields and mountain landscapes are all accessible by car. Lake Vegoritida is right on the doorstep, offering opportunities for swimming, fishing or simply enjoying the scenery. There are also many beautiful churches and monasteries to discover, often in spectacular locations. The hotel is ideal for travellers who value privacy, peace and independence while still wanting a comfortable base from which to explore. The owners are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and they help visitors connect with the local community and experience the region as more than ordinary tourists. We stayed for 11 days and loved every minute. Hotel Limni is a true gem.

There was nothing we disliked. Our only regret was that we eventually had to leave.

Прежде всего хочу отметить персонал. Очень отзывчивая и приятная женщина на рецепшене! Местоположение тоже понравилось. В 600 метрах пляж, где можно покупаться (есть даже несколько зонтиков и душ) или половить рыбу с мостков. Недалеко небольшой продуктовый магазин и несколько ресторанов. С балкона открывается замечательный вид на озеро! Комната и душевая довольно просторные. В номере была так же кухонька, но никаких кухонных пренадлежностей там не было 🤷🏻‍♂️. Ни чайника, ни столовых приборов. Вюно воду можно вскипятить внизу на кухне, а так же взять чашки или тарелки. В целом, за свои деньги, очень хороший вариант.

The place has a good location, as it is close to a very good restaurant and it has a beautiful view of the lake. Staff is very friendly.

The bathroom really smelled. I do believe it was cleaned, I think it’s a plumbing problem or something. It was ok if you leave the bathroom door shut, but then the smell in the bathroom is worse. There is no AC or fan, and it’s quite hot in summer. I would add a fan and/or add something in front of the doors to prevent mosquitos coming in. Now it is impossible to keep a door open, mosquitos come in, but there is also no fan...
