Functional, clean, comfy bed , but no frills at all

Clean, comfy bed, location good for our specific requirements (walkable to a friends house) so good value for us.

No kettle. No hairdryer. 2 flimsy small paper cups. Reception not always manned eg.. Had to use sent code to check in at 3pm so no friendly welcome. Means cannot leave luggage if early arrival or leaving after checkout.

Funny smell, won’t come back

Location after long drive.

There was a very bad smell in our room like cold cigarette. Can’t give a better review, that’s not acceptable, cheap or not that’s not a smell the cleaning staff/ manager should allow. Overall, the hotel doesn’t smell particularly fresh. Won’t come back.

Spacious room with airco. Good bed. Cheece was of low quality. The saucices were like rubber / gum.

Only use it if you're too tried to contiune driving.

Breakfast was better than expected, the room was spacious and clean, the water preasure in the shower was great.

Poor value for money, use it only if you are too tired to contiune driving. Old, (nothing wrong with that) but it has been cheaply renovated, the toiletes are old, stained, everything has yellowed,

It was clean

The air conditioner wasn't working, they knew it and didn't say anything in advance, we got no solution and had to sleep with 30 degrees outside at midnight because there was a heatwave that day. Obviously didn't get any sleep and on top of that they didn't issue a refund. Terrible customer service. Also had no access to WiFi.

Our stay at B and B in Colmar was excellent. So we booked Besançon. It's not in the same league.

Good breakfast. Good space to exercise dog. Friendly staff. Spacious room.

Finding the hotel was very difficult. The SatNav took us to the centre of the town as we put in the address 159 Rue de Dole. This was completely wrong. We spent 20 minutes looking for the hotel. Then there was not enough room to park by the gate (we did not have a code to open it) before we came in to register (we blocked space for another guest). All very stressful after a long drive. (Small issue: TV remote did not have option for subtitles.)

The hotel is new and rooms are exceptionnaly large and well equipped. I particularly liked the fact toilets and bathroom were separated

A good stay in a basic hotel

We had a good night of sleep, which is the most important thing.

The price was steep for a hotel that didn't have any employees on-site during most of our stay. The pillows aren't impressive either.
