Wonderful location! Clean, simple. Just what we need for a ski vacation.

The location is great. Just a 10 minute drive to Merano 2000 for a day of skiing. Recommend eating at the hotel next door at least once. They have a wonderful salad bar (with fish, potato salad, beans, corn, etc.). You will need to plan ahead and make reservations if you plan on eating there. Georg (owner of Unterweg Hof) is an extremely friendly man. He is also a very busy man. If you are a family that requires extra attention, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a clean, simple place to stay, this is the place. We reserved via booking.com. Please know if you make your booking via this website, and you think you have the apartment with kitchen, you do not! It was not a big, big deal for us, but it was annoying to learn we did not have a kitchen as we have 5 children! But he did offer us use of the breakfast room, and we did use that area to eat the breakfast food we had brought. It worked out just fine for this trip, though I would not want to repeat the mix up again. As far as location is concerned, you can not beat the price for this location. And the rooms were clean and plenty big enough. We had plenty of bath towels and hand towels. Bring your own wash clothes and hand soap (also body soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc). We accidently left items in our room when we checked out. Georg was so kind to mail these important items to us within a week's time!!!! As I already stated, he is very busy and we greatly appreciated his quick action to our mistake. We will stay again....next time in the apartment:)

Because Georg was busy, it took awhile for us to get our wifi passwords. We were not happy to learn we in fact did not have an apartment with kitchen reserved as stated in our Booking.com confirmation, and there are NOT fridges in the rooms. There is a fridge in the hallway for all guest to use (which worked out fine for us).

Un weekend lungo ad Avelengo

Stanza confortevole, pulita e bellissima vista.

Il proprietario è stato molto cortese e gentile. Meno una signora dello staff che salutava a malapena e si scocciava se le si chiedeva qualcosa. Purtroppo ha rovinato un po’ il soggiorno…gli ospiti non si meritano un trattamento del genere

Comodo alloggio per una breve vacanza rilassante

La posizione era molto comoda: a 20 minuti di auto da Merano e 10 minuti dalla funivia per Merano 2000. Massima tranquillità e gentilezza e disponibilità del gestore. Abbiamo avuto il Guest pass per muoverci gratuitamente con il servizio bus dell'Alto Adige. La camera era abbastanza ampia, con un balcone e un piccolo piano cottura con accessori (stoviglie, piatti, bicchieri e posate).

Non ci sono negozi di alimentari da raggiungere a piedi, nè bar dove poter prendere un caffè. Presente solo il ristorante di un hotel vicino. In camera non era presente un lavello per le stoviglie presso il punto cottura. Manca il bidet nel bagno
