Ikali Hostel

The private room had an air conditioning unit and a large television, and they even provided towels. The beds were comfy and everything was spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I could leave my luggage there in safekeeping after check out.

The shared bathroom has toilets and showers combined, which creates awkward situations when you need to shower (single cubicle without a changing room) and someone else uses the toilet. The private room is next to the kitchen which can be disturbing if there’s someone late at night.

Lovely little spot right in the heart of Monterrey. Right on a bustling and fun street. The hostel is well looked after and very quaint, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is also well equipped. All the staff were super nice and accommodating. Special thanks to Sebastian who was there for our whole stay and was a great host for general help as well as fun conversation the rest of the time! Would recommend.

A few mosquitos about in communal spaces in the evening which can’t be helped, but just take bug spray.

Location Is very central ,surrounded by restaurants and pubs . Nice market on Sunday

At check in no one was waiting for me , no bell I stood on the street long times before someone casually opened the door No keys for room or main entrance , a china digital locker with 8 numbers pin drove me crazy every time I had to open it Room , I had the family studio was not as described , I had a private bathroom and a kitchen without any stove . A huge room with just a small bed . Unacceptable for the money , I payed for a functionally full apartment, I ve got an average room with bath Suppose to get housekeeping everyday , I have been 5 days without getting a new towel or someone emptying the bins
