Overall good

Our room was great and very large. Breakfast was fabulous with choices of bread/fruits/eggs/yoghurt/meats/cheeses all laid out for us by the time we arrived upstairs. Close to a ski lift so could ski to and from the chalet.

Slight difficulty of access from the car park to Chanterelle but had help from staff members. Dinner was 60eur pp (although advertised much cheaper) and access to the sauna was 50eur pp for 30 mins only so we did not use it. Would be good for the sauna to be included in the price of the room.

Cute, warm, welcoming lodge life right on the slopes, great for intermediate/advanced skiers.

The Chanterelle was perfectly warm and welcoming lodge with cute rooms and a nice new bathroom. A wonderful location - both a bit remote and literally ski-in/ski-out. Amazing breakfast buffet, and a nice, warm dinner. Playing darts and cards and hanging out was so much fun after a great day of skiing. We highly recommend.

But one word of warning… the piste to access the lodge is a Red level, not great for beginners. We had two young beginner skiers, and decided to drive over to Les Gets for Green and Blue pistes. But once the kids are confident enough, we’d absolutely stay again!!

Fantastic autumnal getaway!

We are a family of 5 and wanted a quiet getaway during the autumn half term. Our stay ticked all our boxes! The staff looked after us very well, the weekend was a perfect combination of autumnal hikes and relaxation! I would definitely recommend this property.

Sympathique

L'emplacement est juste royal. Chalet au pied des pistes. Situé en haut d'un COL. L'hôte vient récupérer vos bagages en moto neige pour le trajet (aller). Dispose d'un local pour stocker les accessoires de ski. Multiples jeux de société à disposition pour passer de bons moments en famille ou entre amis. Restaurant sur place proposant un seul plat du jour avec des quantités généreuses dans l'assiette.

Pas forcément grand-chose à faire autour. Une fois rentré au chalet, on y reste.. Et si vous rentrez les derniers au chalet, attention à la douche.. froide ! Compliqué d'y accéder, ou de repartir, en cas de mauvais temps. Le chalet se situe sur le côté Chery nord du domaine Les Gets (pas forcément adapté pour un niveau débutant en ski. Seulement deux pistes à disposition pour rejoindre la station : une noire et une rouge..)

Chalet accueillant au bord des pistes

Tout était parfait, John et le personnel : très bien. Dans la chambre il y a fait 2 lits : celui de 160 cm, parfait. L’arrivée le soir et la prise en charge de skidoo. Le petit déjeuner très bien aussi. Le cadre avec baies vitrées larges donnant sur les montagnes et les pistes. Très agréable à contempler pendant notre petit déjeuner

le canapé lit : pas bien du tout, matelas peu épais et on sentait les barres métalliques en dessous. On y a très mal dormi. La porte de la douche est montée dans le mauvais sens d’ouverture ce qui entraîne un accès difficile si la porte en bois de la salle de bain/chambre est fermée.

Lieu authentique, accueil de qualité type chambre d'hôte

Chambre familiale très sympa. Hotel isolé au col d'Ancrenaz, très calme mais assez proche des gets et de morzine. Accueil simple, authentique, patron très attentif au moment du petit déjeuner. Aucun réseau mobile sur le lieu de l'hotel. Le wifi est gratuit mais ne fonctionnait pas bien dans la chambre mais dans la salle à manger séjour. Fonctionnement plus de type chambre d'hôte qu'Hotel.

Sans doute le wifi dans les chambres. Bien préciser sur le site que le logement ne convient pas au personnes à mobilité réduite.
