An unexpected pleasure!

We had a very nice stay in Kerpen. I was traveling with my teenage daughter, to attend the horse show in Aachen. This little flat in Kerpen was an added bonus to a great trip. The flat was spotlessly clean, with a very well-equipped kitchen. The location is perfect. Very easy drive to Aachen (and I am sure also to Köln), and within Kerpen it is ideally situated close to the town center, a Lidl, cafés and restaurants, and an ice cream shop. Who could ask for more?!?

A very, very small complaint, but we ran out of toilet paper on a Saturday night and there wasn't any extra in the flat.

short stay to visit family

clean, good kitchen facilities. Easy access to town centre for bakery and restaurants. Good parking. Flexible check-in time especially as we were late.

Being on the 2nd floor in the roof which we’d specifically asked not to be. Very warm at this time of year and so had to have windows open in the evening, which meant owners outdoor music could be heard until after 11pm.

We only stayed one night and found a nice Thai restaurant a couple of kilometres down the road.

Magnificent ‘million dollar’ apartment. Free parking just outside the entrance. Newly constructed property in perfect condition.

No arrival information so that made it hard to locate the property which was in a one way street. There was no number on the front of the apartment building. After eventually gaining access to the property we met the host’s representative and everything was fine.

It was a really nice stay. We recommend it.

The apartment is great, very clean and nicely furnished. It has a parking space and it is placed in a wonderful location - a nice small town - with a store, a bakery, a coffee place, etc. nearby. And everyone was extremely nice. If you have a car then there is also a nice opportunity to travel with a train to Koln, Bonn, etc. from Horrem, which has a free P+R.

Immaculately clean and lovely apartment

This was an immaculately clean apartment with everything we needed. It was very well equipped and the hosts were very friendly. We only stayed overnight and didn't have time to explore the immediate local area but noticed a great selection of cafes and bakeries with everything you would need. Parking was right outside the apartment and very convenient. Beds were comfy and it was nicely decorated.

We didn't feel that anything could have been better. It was perfect for our visit.

Easy to access from the motorway. Parking directly outside of apartment. Lovely apartment, had everything you’d need. We only stayed the one night on our way back to the Uk but will stay there again. Shops were just around the corner. Apartment was spotless and very modern.

The location was perfect ! East access to Supermarket, Bakery, and plaza with various eating options. I loved my stay here and plan on returning this summer. Excellent place really satisfied.

Good modern apartment, lacking some essentials

The apartment is big, modern, comfortable, well equipped. It has very good internet/Wi-Fi which was very important for me for my work trip and it worked well. It was warm enough in the apartment. There is a Lidl nearby so it's very convenient to buy groceries! The apartment was clean and hosts were helpful.

I did not like that the most basic essentials were not provided such as some salt, sugar, coffee, dish sponge, oil, shower gel, shampoo, hand soap... I had to ask for soap, iron and extension cord, they were then provided but I wish they were just there. If I come to an apartment for 2 nights it is really inconvenient to drag things like salt and olive oil with you or buy heavy packages of them for just 2 nights! These things are extremely cheap to provide, especially considering the nightly price of this apartment of over 100 euros and it helps travellers out a lot. Missed a toaster and a coffee machine. Overall good stay but absence of essentials was very disappointing. ...

Was 37 degrees every day and the place was too warm! No air con as the owner said it’s well insulated and not needed but we definitely needed it to be a lot cooler. The owner gave us a fan which helped slightly.

Alles in allem ein solides Apartment mit ein paar Ecken und Kanten.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist vor allem der großzügige Platz sowie das sehr bequeme Bett. Die Vermieter waren nett und freundlich. Außerdem gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, was wirklich praktisch ist.

Allerdings gab es auch ein paar Punkte, die verbessert werden könnten. Während unseres Aufenthalts lagen die Außentemperaturen zwischen 0–8 Grad, und leider war es in der Wohnung entsprechend kühl, da die Heizungen nur mäßig funktionieren. Im Badezimmer gibt es gar keine Heizung, wodurch es nach dem Duschen schnell kalt wird. Ein Fernseher ist vorhanden, jedoch ohne Möglichkeit, Apps wie Netflix oder Amazon Prime zu nutzen – man ist also auf die normalen TV-Sender beschränkt. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es keine Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit für das Dachfenster. Da das Bett direkt daneben steht, sollte man kein Problem damit haben, wenn es morgens früh hell wird. In der Küche steht leider nur eine Kochplatte zur Verfügung – eine zweite wäre hier definitiv hilfreich.

Knus appartement

De locatie omdat het overal dichtbij was om te gaan reizen met de auto. Lidl is 4 minuten loopafstand. Het is een hele kleine dorpje met alle voorzieningen, ze hebben een bioscoop, Kaufland , DM iets van 950meter van de huisje.

Venu en famille pour allez visité le marché de Noël de Cologne, ces appartement on tout le confort, ce trouve à 15 minutes de Cologne, des boulangerie sont à moins de 2 minutes à pied, parking privé, endroit calme.

Muy agradable la ciudad de Kerpen, a media hora de Colonia y de Bonn. El departamento estaba muy bien equipado, en general.

El aparato de TV es muy antiguo y no acepta más que algunos canales. La cama no era cómoda para nuestro gusto.

Heel compleet appartement, fijn verblijf!

Heel compleet appartement. Aan van alles is gedacht! Erg prettig verblijf. Goede douche/bad, lekker bed, volledige keuken, wasmachine aanwezig. Parkeren kan makkelijk voor de deur. Supermarkt en bakker op loopafstand.

Was helemaal prima. Enige puntje is de eettafel, daar kon je alleen met z’n twee zitten terwijl appartement voor 4 is. En als het bed is uitgeklapt is er weinig plek om te zitten om te eten.
