Longview Vineyard

Beautiful gardens and scenery, so peaceful. It was also freezing weather but the facilities were great so I was nice and toasty in my room

Just a shame the restaurant was closed for dinner due to the mother’s day events they were set up for. Staff were brilliant though and stayed open so we could sample and purchase some wine

Next time, will book a king room as we only had a queen size bed.

I don’t even know where to start. The whole experience was just perfect. The view from the room and the spa bath were of the stunning rolling hill with vineyards, with grazing roo’s, hopping bunnies and dew-covered spiderwebs in the morning. Right next to the accomodation is a short walking path up a hill to a viewpoint that gives you a spectacular sunrise view all the way to the ocean and a stunning sunset view over the hills. The staff went above and beyond! Julien who looked after me in the cellar door helped me experience wine like I never have before. With the supreme wine, I ordered delicious food, enjoyed a comfortable seat with a view of vineyards and gum trees. The hills at their best! Kari in the spa gave me the best massage I have had in my life, I’m not exaggerating, and the products used in the facial were gentle, smelled wonderful and were applied with gentle, caring hands. After my massage, I received a cup of tea (houseblend, no Twinnings) and a house made truffle in the sun room of the spa. I recommend an early morning treatment, the view of the sun over the vineyard was so beautiful. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and everything from the vines, to the kitchen, to the cellar door and the spa is clearly well looked after by a wide array of talented staff. I will be back many, many times, whether it is for a drink, a night away, or a massage!
