Old, museum like town, very quiet.

Super nice older couple who have traveled a lot and like to tell about it. They even volunteered to babysit our dog for a day. One morning we were offered freshly caught and cooked prawns. awesome.

Actually nothing negative. Perhaps, although it may not have a name, that you have less privacy in the garden. Which, by the way, is evenly distributed. We have not experienced this as a negative in this case

Paradise Cottage in Nyord

A very nice and comfortable cottage with lots of privacy in the peacefull quietness of Nyord. Beautifull happy people taking care of us. For us everything was in perfect timing, blending, order and joy. Namasté to the both of you, we are wishing to come back for a longer stay.

Lovely cottage and amazing hosts

The stay at Travel Back in Time was wonderful, Bent and Yrsa were super helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Was really nice to hear about their history around the world. The cottage was fully equipped with everything needed for a short or long stay, and was very comfortable. It was amazing to have breakfast in the garden with the birds chirping. We loved discovering the lovely island of Nyord and its amazing biodiversity.

Unique and heart-warming stay

Amazing place. Utterly adorable self contained thatched cottage in the grounds of Bent and Yrsa's lovely local-styled house. Both in their 80s, their amazing life/love story (married over 60 years, life in Uganda, India etc) adds to the charm of this wonderfully cosy accommodation.

One night stay in an elf house

The house is situated in a very beautiful location surrounded by water. The owner is very warm, positive, friendly and good person. Introduced us to his great and interested life story. Was very nice of him.

It was very tiny house with elfin doors and windows. That's cozy and sweet but unfortunately not comfortable. Chairs in the kitchen need to be changed. And very dusty indeed, sorry to say that.

Cosy old town. House is in the middle. Great to sit in the garden if sun's available. All facilities are present in this house.

Restaurant in town is closed for the rest of 2020.

Liten mysig stuga, bra kök och utrustning. Nyord var ett trevligt ställe att besöka! Värdparet var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma! Vår hund stortrivdes i deras trädgård!

Upp till loftet var det en trappa eller stege som inte var så lätt för hunden. Vi fick bära honom upp o ned.

Vi vil komme tilbage til huset, til øen og til det hyggelige værtspar.

Vi havde en længe af huset for os selv (til venstre på billedet). Der var alt hvad vi havde behov for. Vi benyttede også møblerne i haven, morgen og aften. Huset ligger tæt på p pladsen ude for byen.

Vi kunne lide det hele. Selv de lave dørkarme var charmerende.

Séjour de rêves

Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux de nos hôtes qui sont vraiment adorables. Le logement est très agréable. Nos hôtes nous ont conseillés un super restaurant à côté de chez eux, c'était excellent. Le gîte est sur une île magnifique, très calme avec des paysages superbes.

Les moustiques qui sont plus nombreux que les habitants de l'île. Heureusement, Yrsa avait des sprays à disposition.

De hartelijke eigenaars, de locatie, de mooie tuin, het huisje ziet er schattig uit en ligt in een prachtig vissersdorpje. De rust en de stilte!

Ostern in idyllischer Ruhe

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit bei zwei sehr netten Gastgebern! Das Haus war so wie es auf den Bildern zu sehen war. Tolle Lage in einem sehr ruhigen, kleinem Ort. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern (4 und 1) auf Reisen. Hier musste man etwas vorsichtig mit der Treppe im Haus sein. Den Garten durften wir mitnutzen und konnten hier die Ostereier für die Kinder verstecken :)

Der Geruch vom Kanal war etwas streng. Aber dafür können die Besitzer nichts.

Die Besitzer wohnen neben an und sind sehr nett. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme bestimmt wieder

Heel bijzonder, dit moet je een keer ervaren!

We werden ontzettend vriendelijk ontvangen! Op Nyord ga je sowieso ‘back in time’, de rust en de stilte zijn heerlijk. Het comfort laat te wensen over maar dat wordt allemaal goedgemaakt door het bijzondere huisje op deze bijzondere plek. Echt een ervaring! Heerlijk om s’ochtends te ontbijten met alleen het geluid van de vogeltjes in de mooie tuin. En waar kom je tijdens je avondwandeling met de hond een ree tegen in het dorp? Wij vonden het een bijzonder, niet gauw te vergeten verblijf.

Hygiëne kan beter. Als je wat groter bent is het boven door de schuine wanden niet zo comfortabel. Twee aparte, niet heel goede bedden.
