Apartamento costa del oro

The price was awesome during my week long stay in September. Really great value. The apartment is pretty with nice finishes and was spotless. It's excellently equipped for cooking and cleaning, including a washer/dryer. It has AC which seems to be a relative rarity in Spain. It is compact but spacious enough with the extra bed in the living area. The apartment gives you access to a large pool for adults and a small kiddie pool, which was always lively with a mix of elderly and youths but never too crowded. There are also tennis and basketball courts and small football soccer areas that were deserted the whole time and free for my exclusive use. The area is full of stores, restaurants and bars all around, with plenty of nightlife so you'll be able to buy anything any time. The beach is a super short walk away, with a long coast and mild waves. Walking a bit westward will take you to a less crowded, less commercial Las Dunas beach. There are playgrounds around for kids and it's well developed with showers and paving everywhere. There are some pretty roads and neighborhoods nearby for an enjoyable walk. The owner was friendly and responsive and prepared a nice list of recommended places that greets you upon arrival.

The AC drips water into a jug, which has an alarm when it starts to overflow. There was no mention of this by the owner and I almost had a heart attack when it started to ring during my sleep. It is kind of obvious how it works in hindsight, but it's so unusual that I didn't even pay attention to it. Humourous. The check in instructions were poor. The keys were pretty hidden away with no pictures of the actual place where you'd find them. Parking is a nightmare since there's no reserved space. You have to drive around on and on and on to find something nearby and not have to carry your bags a long distance. Then you don't feel like driving anymore because you'll lose the spot. Pro tip, you usually find 2 or 3 spots in the back of the building after 9pm. The area around the apartment complex is annoyingly crowded most of the time, and for whatever reason many spots smell like cat urine. I'm not kidding. It's not too bad, but certainly removes some of the magic. There is also no good view from the apartment.

Instalaciones, ya que esta en urbanización, con dos piscinas fantásticas. Al lado de la playa. Colchones y almohada, genial... Muy limpio.

La tv... hay problemas para pillar los canales bien. Será el tdt. Por poner un pero...

La ubicación y que aunque es pequeño está bien aprovechado el espacio

It was close to the beach

The view from the window is on tennis corts not the sea. We had a bad luck there was contruction works next door and was very noisy. There is no window in the bedroom so it is more like a studio.
