I was a little skeptical about booking this hotel based on the reviews here but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise as I really enjoyed my three nights stay here - Thursday - Sunday. The staff members were helpful and friendly, also the hotel areas and rooms were spacious and clean. Great location, safe, and very easy to get to and out from any time of the day. There are several small supermarkets nearby and a major supermarket which is about a 10-minute walk away and opens till 10 PM. There are a variety of vibrant bars, pubs, lounges, and nightclubs all within walking distance from the hotel or about 1,000 Naira fare by cab any time of the day. The restaurant menu had a wide variety of meals on it and all my orders were tasty and well-priced for the good quality. Good breakfast with an okay variety on offer. Overall, there's a lot more to like about the hotel than dislike so I will certainly visit again.

My room had a great view and a balcony overlooking the pool and bar where the live band stage was located. I enjoyed the live band but the sound was indeed very loud when I was at the poolside bar as well as in the room. It wasn't much of a problem for me personally, but I see why others may complain. The hotel wing of the building has no elevator but there is one in the apartment wing. I see the swimming pool being cleaned each day but quickly gets dirty when it rains, not sure if water from the fountain adds debris to the pool. Can be a little tricky getting into the room as the door had old-fashioned keys entry instead of electronic cards.
