Villa Lucy is a lovely hotel that has wide balconies overlooking a large garden with old trees and many birds. At the main road you can find grocery stores and restaurants (try the trucker restaurant at the petrol station, it looks rough but serves excellent food). We used the hotel as a base to visit the Chicamocha Cañon.
If you don' t have your own transport, you will have to walk about half a kilometer on a dirtroad from the highway to the hotel. We had backpacks, so it wasn' t a problem for us. But if you are travelling with heavy suitcases or people who are not agile, you should organize a pick-up beforehand.
