It looked clean and location was good.

The description of the apartment is inaccurate and misleading. This is NOT the apartment as a whole unit, but rather 2 separate rooms (1 has AC and the other does not) with 2 separate entrances, and the rest room has a separate entrance, all divided by the hallway in the house that is shared by the rest of the guests. The correct description is 2 separate rooms with 1 restroom. Therefore, we did not end up staying at this place as I was with 2 kids (8 and 2) and didn't want to be separated. I requested full refund from the owner and he started negotiating to send be back 50% of my expense and for me not to submit the comment. I refused and decided to describe here in details my experience!! I will be contacting Booking representatives for the full refund.

A Great Base to Explore From

Trstenik is a great location to explore lower Croatia from. The little village has 5 places to eat at and a local store for supplies. It's very relaxed and calm. The apartment is old, but it's clean, adequate, and in a nice quiet location, one row back from the main street and sea.

Misrepresented, disappointing

We felt that we got set up. We booked the apartment on the ground floor. After the arrival, we found that the bathroom with the toilet was located outside the apartment itself, in the hallway, next to the stairs where everybody walks, meaning that in order to go to the bathroom at night one has to unlock the apartment door and walk to the hallway in the common area where anyone has access. The apartment itself was extremely cramped and dark, and so was the bathroom with hardly any room to turn. After complaining to Booking.com about the bathroom location outside the apartment, the owner switched us to the apartment on the second floor, which was better in terms of light and space and had the bathroom located inside. However, it did not have the terrace that we were supposed to have and paid for. The bed mattress was really bad, with a large sunken hole in the middle, there was little space to hang wet towels, the lamp on the night stand did not work and the trash can was broken. We overpayed so much for this basic place and were really disappointed. While we were there, we could also see through the open doors in the rooms on the first floor, which had very tight quarters as well. Thus I can safely say that all of the options in Ante Apartments are thumbs down in a big way, and should be avoided unless you want to be disappointed like us.

Nice apartment and good location

The daughter in the family met us at the parking lot a minute walk from the apartment and showed us the way. It's a nice and clean apartment with a kitchen that has everything you need. Great location.
