Apartman KEMICA free Parking

Apartments is nice and well equipped. Looks exactly like on fotos. Location is perfect. Walking distance from bus/railway station (10 min). And you can walk to historical center by feet if you want to look around the city or take a tram from the station nearby. The host is great, he sent a video how to find the apartment easy and was online everytime. We came to Saraevo late night but apartments was opened for us and ready.

Vlasnici su preljubazni, izašli su nam u susret gdje god su mogli i pomogli nam sa svime. Apartman je bio čist, vrlo uredan i lijep, dočekale su nas i sve stvari koje bi nam mogle zatrebati, kao što su fen, pegla, ručnici i slično. Vlasnici su bili dostupni za sva naša pitanja i definitivno nam dodatno uljepšali boravak u Sarajevu. Lokacija odlična, 10 minuta od autobusnog kolodvora i otprilike isto toliko od tramvajske stanice koja vodi do centra.

The host is super accommodating and friendly. He has answered all my questions and was even willing to fetch us at the bus station which was just 15min by foot from the apartment. There were coffee and tea enough for two for our 5 days stay. The apartment is very spacious and it is acceptably clean : one room, one big salon, a kitchen-dining room with refrigerator. It has a washing machine in the bathroom (you need to buy your wash products though). The place is easy to find and is walking distance (max 15min) from Sarajevo's central bus terminal. Although there is a building under construction in front of the property, I can say that the place is quiet. There is a grocery store in the street corner and a bakery just a few feet away. We regaled on hot Burek and bread with sausage every morning :) The children of the host greeted us whenever we see them when we arrive (they were mainly playing at night until 9pm). There's also a taxi stand on the corner which I guess the host knows many of the drivers that is why he can propose / offer a taxi ride to the airport for 10€.

I sincerely enjoyed our stay so I don’t like to be negative … But I had three issues with the apartment: (1) the whole apartment smelt of cigarette smoke. Despite the room freshner and sprays, as I am asthmatic and very sensitive to this, the odor lingered the entire 5d/4n of our stay. I even vacuumed the sofas to minimize the smell but it did very little. I endured it thanks to patting liniment oil on my pillow and bedsheets. I also had to roll and put away the carpets (in the salon, kitchen and hallway), far away from the bedroom. For future guests, maybe the host could consider to not allow smoking inside the apartment. Smokers could use the big space in front of the house. (2) the bedroom has a small see-through window. As it is a see-through window, we can see the neighbor and their cat passing by. For privacy reasons, each night, we had to cover this window with the duvets and pillows (luckily enough, the cabinets were full of them). The host could consider to install a dark and privy/heavy curtain to this window. (3) Though stable and comfortable, the bed is very squeaky. it makes a lot of noise just getting in and out of bed.

It's near from the railway station. Well equipped. The owner and his cousin are very helpful.
