Meduza B&b

Wir waren sehr gut aufgenommen im Meduza B&B, jeden Tag gab es anderes Frühstück, die Lage war abseits von Rab, aber leicht mit dem Wassertaxi oder Rädern zu erreichen

Das Frühstück war super lecker, da uns Petra jeden Tag etwas anderes gezaubert hat. Auch Ihre Empfehlungen für Ausflüge waren super. Man wird täglich gefragt, ob man etwas braucht. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist nicht zu übertreffen und dass der Vater von Petra ein super Restaurant direkt vor der Haustür betreibt, ist ein Vorteil- nur die Stiegen runter und schon hat man spitzen Essen. Hoffentlich überleben diese Restaurants weiterhin ohne Pizza und Burger, sondern mit traditionellen Fleisch- und Fischgerichten.

Für einen Urlaub war der geringe Wasserdruck und die schwierige Temperaturregulation der Dusche okay.

Alles perfekt. Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen worden. Das Frühstück wurde täglich mit Liebe zubereitet und hat lecker geschmeckt Zimmer sehr sauber und geräumig Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder

The room had a nice balcony with a great view of the sea right in front. There is private parking right in front of the house, which was extremely convenient (although you need to drive through a very narrow driveway to get down to the seaside promenade in front of the house, so beware if you are not a confident driver). The hosts were very friendly and attentive - they shared details about the water taxi to the nearby town of Rab (a beautiful old town!) and the ferry schedule to get to the island and back on shore. Breakfast was served on demand until 10am and our requests for espresso coffee instead of the filtered one that was served with breakfast were readily accommodated.

There were a few areas the room fell a bit short of expectations. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working, there was no mosquito net on the balcony door. The air conditioner is turned on by a switch on the wall and there is no remote control for adjusting temperature, fan speed, etc. We turned it on but dust started coming out of its vent so we turned it off and didn't use it. The bed has a spring mattress that was not super comfortable and towels were quite rough (as if no fabric softener had been used in laundry). Noises could easily be heard from the other rooms so it's easy to disturb other guests later at night or get disturbed early in the morning if guests have different schedules. Take note that check-out time is until 10am, something we hadn't noticed when booking. Hosts were kind enough not to rush us (we made it out at 11am) but that may be different in high season.
