Sia House

Compact space with everything we needed. Bed was so comfortable and clean as was the whole apartment. Washing machine a bonus and it made a refreshing change to be supplied with essentials like loo roll, washing up liquid. tea towel, kitchen roll etc. Parking directly outside and small supermarket 2 minutes walk away.

Only downside for us was the location but that was our fault; we chose it so we would be within walking distance of Pula and the beaches which it is but has no view and only a small balcony. We only found one place to eat close.

Das Apartment liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, ideal zwischen Altstadt (25 Minuten zu Fuß) und Badebuchten ( 20Minuten u Fuß). Es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub braucht. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, dass alles passt. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist ganz in der Nähe. Ich habe mich in den 8 Tagen im Apartment Sia House wie Zuhause gefühlt und wurde sofort wieder hinfahren.

Nichts

The apartment was small, but tidy and very nice in quite location near the city and also the sea. The nearest beach was the Valsaline. The owner was waiting for us to come and gave us the keys and basic information about the apartment with the conclusion „you have trip adviser, you have everything,“ what I found quite strange. The kitchen was well equipped, with the basket of fruits and nice flowers. The IC was working and helped us survive hot nights sleeping upstairs with almost no circulation of the air.

The owner didn´t speak English very well, so there was problem to communicate clearly. Everything was fine, unless problem occurs. We booked long trip (16 nights) and after 10 nights we found out that we need to leave 6 nights earlier for the funeral of our Granny. So we contacted the owner and inform her about the situation and asked her, if there is any possibility to refund some of the nights and she told us, that we need to contact booking, because she doesn´t have money yet. And after booking contacted her, she refused to refund us any amount of money. It was very unpleasant situation for both sides, but one would have expected some understanding, bit of empathy, or good will.
