Beachside Villa Marko

Wer Ruhe sucht und trotzdem viele annehmliche Dinge des Ortes Milna fußläufig erreichen möchte, ist hier richtig. Zikaden statt Straßenlärm, sauberes, freundliches Apartment, viel Geschmack und eine große Terrasse zum Bleibenwollen. Das Gastgeberpaar Nensi und Marko war sehr herzlich.

Nichts. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

All ok

* The appartment was well furnished and a good size. We especially liked the large balcony where we could eat breakfast or chill out in the evening, or dry our wet swimming costumes in the sun on the washing stand provided. There was also a roof over some of it, useful as it sometimes rained in the night. * The local town Milna is very nice with marina, restaurants, tourist info, and a dive center - it was quick to reach on foot, as were local bathing places. But you need need to climb "the hill" on your way back to the flat.

* The shower was a good size with two shower heads (overhead, and hand-held) but it was very hard to change the water temperature which was mostly too hot, so it was not possible to take a cooling shower after a day in the sun. The owner knew the problem and provided a small towel to help grip the metal knob (which helped a little), but the knob was very stiff and you also need to press and hold in a button at the same time. The whole shower control needs to be replaced. * A small holder for shower gel and shampoo in the shower and a toilet roll holder would be good. * The WiFi in the flat was very low speed. I think the router was in the flat underneath, so reception on the first floor was very poor (a bit better on the balcony), so effectivly unusable. I carried out a speed test online and the speeds for ping, download, and upload were all very poor.

The place has many apartments, some of which may be better than others. The one we were in, was average. Unfortunately, there were some guests before us and the apartment wasn't so well cleaned. The place is also on quite a steep hill which isn't so comfortable for the baby buggy. The host was friendly.
