Peaceful stay with easy access to the beach and restaurants.

A peaceful place with a great host. The owner also woke me up so that I could go to Mount Athos on time for the boat. Her so also dropped me to the port which is a warm touch. The place is quiet, a lot of beautiful Icons and pictures. A spiritual calm haven. The beach is also a 5 minutes walk from the hotel which is a plus. Will be back again for sure.

The hotel was centrally located and in general clean, the staff was friendly, and the parking was easy nearby. Hot water always available, etc.

The rooms were very noisy (old windows, etc) since the building was very old and not recently renovated. The air-conditioning unit, although new, was not adjustable, making the sleep in the bed under it practically impossible.

The staff are extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is midway between the beach on one end of the street and two big supermarkets on the other.

A fairly noisy location with some guy cutting the grass in the park across the street at 7:30 a.m. Teenage boys endlessly racing up and down the street on motorbikes is also common late at night.

Located just near the beach, hotel Akanthos is a clean and comfortable place. We like the interior very much, it was very nice and cozy. The hotel owners are friendly and very helpful. We definitely want to visit this place again. Great value for money.

Fijn hotel voor een prima prijs.

Super aardige gastvrouw. Ruime kamer en ruim balkon op een centrale locatie. Goed uitgeruste kamer. Schone kamer en schoon hotel.

Helaas kwam er best wat lawaai van buiten. De gastvrouw kon geen Engels. In tegenstelling tot de advertentie was er geen bidet.

La mestressa no parla anglès, però hi posa molt bona voluntat. M'ha guardat la maleta durant els dies de la meva estada al Mont Athos, i es va oferir per trucar per un taxi per anar cap al port.
