    Honestly, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The facilities are very basic, but the room is clean and there's a daily room service. We got clean towels and sheets every day. I read about there being bed bugs in some older reviews - no sign of those, we checked the mattresses upon arrival. The beds were clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful, I have no doubt they wouldn't let a thing like that slide. Great option for budget travelers, good locations, easy to get to the city centre (10 min on foot), or to the sea (~45 min by metro). Metro station with two lines right next to the hotel and there are many local spots with cheap food and drinks. The area felt safe even after dark (would be cautious if I went alone, but we were two young women and it was fine).

    I was very scared after reading all the reviews, but honestly, was much much better than expected. There was no bed bugs (that I can tell anyway) the room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. It's close to everything but that neighborhood is a little sketchy at night

    Walking distance to restaurants and public transportation. Room was very clean. I can tell they moped the floor every day. I found one cockroach right outside of my room though.
