Dirty cutlery and dishes

L’accoglienza di Mario è stata molto gentile ed esplicativa, anche per quanto riguarda le principali attrazioni della città. L’appartamento in generale è funzionale e la doccia calda funziona bene.

La posizione dell’appartamento si trova in una via interna stretta e molto poco accogliente (vicino a servizi di tatuaggi, sex shop.. e probabilmente anche spaccio). L’appartamento è abbastanza piccolo con una cucina piccolissima che quasi non si riesce a starci dentro. Il bagno è piccolo ma funzionale, l’acqua calda della doccia non riesce a rimanere ad una temperatura costante ma oscilla sempre da calda a fredda. Il phone per asciugare i capelli è stato un bel dramma, perché palesemente rotto e si surriscaldava costantemente spegnendosi da solo. Consiglio per l’host una ridisposizione degli spazi nel monolocale.

The host talks to much with too many details (how to start the tap hot water, how to wait for the cold water to run until hot water comes, how to start the hob). We let the host know the arrival time in advance (between 2-3 PM), yet at 3:20 PM he was worried the room will not be ready. Anyway, we stopped 10 minutes on the way and the room was ready for us. VERY IMPORTANT: the host asked us to cancel the reservation and made us a better offer, so they avoid paying the commission to Booking.com. We declined the offer, as it was not fair to actually steel from Booking.com. This way we can write this review! I seriously doubt the very high score of 9.1 on Booking website. To me it's a 5. The room is very cold because it's on ground floor and has no carpet, it's small (I seriously doubt the area is 30 square meters), dark, smells like mold. Although the temperature was around 24 degrees, the feet were freezing on the cold tiles. The pillows are filled with thick feathers that sound pretty annoying when you move the head. The bathroom is so small that I hit by mistake many times the door, the walls. If you're a big person (I am SLIM), then you will not fit in that bathroom. The kitchen has old furniture, old appliances, the hood is completely useless as it has no filter and no evacuation hose. The host said there is an induction hob, however it is a basic glass-ceramic electric hob. Of course, not a real issue, but it was not correct. Very difficult to find a parking place, even in low season in February. It took about 20 minutes drive on all the small streets to find a spot.
