The best base for exploring. This place was perfect for our vacation. Sergio was incredibly kind and helpful, and being a short walk from the Sorrento train station allowed us to maximize our sightseeing time. The apartment is big, clear directions. 10/10 experience!

We liked everything

Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Excellent central location so could walk everywhere. Just a short walk from the train and bus station. Bus stop almost right outside. Supermarket within a block. Sergio was an amazing host. He was proactive from the outset and very generous with his travel advice each day and so it was like having a personal travel consultant.

Nothing we didn’t like. The street is busy so it can get a bit noisy but the benefits far outweigh that inconvenience.

We had a wonderful stay in Sorrento, and a big part of that was thanks to our host, Sergio. Sergio is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and communicative. Even before our arrival, he gave us very detailed instructions on how to get from the airport to Sorrento by bus – which turned out to be much more convenient and affordable than taking the train or a taxi. When he knew we had a lot of luggage, he personally came to pick us up and helped carry everything to the apartment. We truly appreciated this gesture. Throughout our stay, Sergio was always helpful, recommending must-see places and local specialties every day. We were especially impressed by the lemon cream pastry he suggested – it was absolutely delicious and unforgettable. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The location is excellent: just a 300–500m walk from the train station or bus stop, and about 500m to the city center. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and a supermarket right next door, which is very convenient. Right in front of the apartment, there is a small family-run restaurant called Gusto & Sabor. The food there is delicious and reasonably priced. We loved the vegetable dishes, picanha, bread, gnocchi, and tiramisu. The owner is also very flexible and can cook according to guests’ preferences. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of, almost like being at home. This was a memorable experience, and we would definitely love to come back again.
