Fantastic chalet in a small village

Lovely house in a peaceful location right at the top of a tiny village neastled beneath the mountains. Quiet garden with sunny and shady seating options for al fresco dining or relaxing and plenty of walks right from the door. The host Marisol was very easy to deal with - quick communication, directions, instructions about picking up the keys etc were all clear and easy. On arrival everything was spotlessly clean and welcoming. The road up to the house is very steep, narrow and twisting - Once you'd done it a couple of times it was no problem, but it helps to be a confident driver. There are a couple of Posadas -country inn style bar/restaurants in the village, as well as shops and Supermarkets in Potes a few minutes drive away. The kitchen had everything you needed. a small but perfectly adequate selection of utensils, plenty of plates and dishes, a good sized fridge/freezer, 3 ring hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Often places in the Picos only have a very basic single hot plate and microwave setup. So for us, on a longish stay and cooking almost all our own meals from fresh local ingredients, it was perfect.

Nothing- We loved everything. We have visited the area quite a few times before but this has been the best self- catering accommodation we have found and we would happily return.
