A Fontana de Luxo Apartamentos

Location was great for finishing the route and easily found. But it is outside of the town and you need a 20 minute walk in. View was amazing. Good value for 4 people. Lovely touch having breakfast.

The facilities were very tired and needed updating. There is a kitchen, but no tea towels to dry up. Could have been cleaner, particularly the shower. Sofa uncomfortable.

Clean, excellent location

Take the difficult path just before Portomarin it is sign posted and when you come to the road the property is facing you. The view from the property is amazing.

We came only for the eclipse, and the view from the terrace overlooking the river was spectacular. That part was perfect. Being able to park our car right in front was also a plus. Food for breakfast was left by the owner the night before our departure. Despite being right on the road leading out of town, there was little noise at night. The bathroom and the kitchen were clean. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, glasses, and plates, including a microwave and a toaster. There was a coffee machine that used biodegradable capsules (paper), which I found unusual.

The biggest problem, and one that made our night very uncomfortable, was the lack of AC. It was a very hot night in August, and even with the windows open, no air came into the apartment. There was one small fan that could not provide cool air to two bedrooms. We were four, and we did not sleep. The owner should really invest in an AC unit or at least buy another fan. For the price we paid, we shouldn't have had to suffer through the night.
