Great value for money and very nice hosts

Very nice hosts and the accommodation was great with a beautiful view from the balcony. The location was extremely close to the beach and only a five minutes walk to the town center. The parking right outside the door of the property made it very easy when we arrived.

Lovely place, helpful host

The host is extremely kind and made sure to welcome us and explain us everything we needed to know.The apartment has AC, the bigger one (there were 2) had a big balcony with a lovely view, kitchen with everything and a big bathroom.

The smaller rooms was a bit tight for 3 people.

Comfortable little apartment at a good location

Location was excellent, close to the highway and a nice beach. The old town of Jelsa was also easy to reach on foot. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. We liked the terrace. A/C was super powerful.

The apartment smelled from cigarette smoke, although it was supposed to be non-smoking accommodation. Perhaps it was because earlier guests were smoking on the terrace with open doors. There were a lot of mosquitoes, so mosquito nets would have been nice.

It was up the hill, in the center of hvar island, some wonderful beaches nearby. It was also quiet in a beautiful house. All rooms are independants.

Nice stay close to centre of Jelsa

Location was really good - close to the beach and walking distance to centre of Jelsa. I loved the balcony with a great view. The parking was also very nice and spacious. The owners installed a brand new air conditioning, which was a huge plus.

Furniture is very outdated and could really use a renovation. Other guests could be heard through the walls and it was quiet noisy.

Quiet night and comfy bed!

This wonderful, quiet location was what I needed after the busy town of Hvar. A view of the tops of houses and the sparkling water below. 5 min walk to Mina Beach to enjoy the day at shimmery turquoise cove waters. As this property is up in the local town and hillside, this is not suitable for people who have mobility issues. This room has its own balcony with a small table and two chairs and also drying line for clothes. Also great: fridge access, sink. Shower water pressure was great! Very clean property! The room was quite large and the bed was a queen or king size. I loved the pillows. The Rubin property seems to have 3 or 4 total rooms, with the owners living in the lower level. Photos are accurrate. Unfortunately, the welcome and key handoff and greeting was a bit confusing, as there were an old couple that I could not communicate with, and the daughter or granddaughter was rushing out and luckily I had caught her to receive the keys. If I did not have a cell phone and arrived late, I don't know what I would have done.

We had a pleasant night

We were warmly welcomed and we received some local honey and oil. There is a nice view and a balcony. The apartment is well furnished and clean, we had everything we needed for our stay.

On the evening shower water wasn't hot.

Very friendly owner and comfortable apartment

The apartment was very comfortable. It had a balcony with the see view. in the morning we enjoyed our breakfast in the balcony and at night the self made wine from the owner. Jelsa is much more silent area in Hvar without crowd with beautiful beach Mina. The apartment was 5 min away from the Mina beach, where you can lie down under the trees. It was like a paradise. We could set up our hamak. The owner was so generous that gave us their self made products like wine, honey, olive oil. It is first time that I experienced something like that. The room has a big windows. Since it is located on a light hill, It was always breezy and you don’t feel the hotness. Additionally there was a ventilator in the room, which was more than enough.

Odlicno

Apartman je smjesten na mirnoj lokaciji s osiguranim privatnim parkingom. Dogovor s vlasnicom je bio jednostavan i ugodan dok je sam apartman bio cist i opremljen sa svime sto je potrebno za boravak. Takoder pogled sa terase je izuzetan. Ukratko sve pohvale i definitivno se vracamo ukoliko nas put opet navede u Jelsu!

Die Lage ist als insgesamt zufriedenstellend zu bewerten. Zu berücksichtigen ist hierbei, dass sich das Objekt auf einer landschaftlich außergewöhnlich reizvollen Insel befindet, auf der es grundsätzlich schwierig ist, eine ungünstige Lage vorzufinden

Die Unterkunft weicht in wesentlichen Punkten von der in den veröffentlichten Bildern dargestellten Beschaffenheit ab. Der Kundenservice ist unzureichend; das Personal zeigte sich im Verlauf des Aufenthalts überwiegend unhöflich und in einzelnen Situationen unangemessen im Umgangston. Eine erkennbare Hilfsbereitschaft war nicht vorhanden, unabhängig von der Art der Anfrage. Unter Berücksichtigung dieser Erfahrungen kann aus meiner Sicht keine Empfehlung ausgesprochen werden
