Kordon Apartment

Location is a few steps away from the beginning of the boardwalk across the street; shops and boat trip rentals nearby and the best traditional ice cream at the first vendor. Two small markets to the right of the hotel entrance and a larger grocery store (Migros) about a 10 min walk to the left. A good bakery about 8 stores down to the left of the hotel entrance. Around the corner is the old town shopping centre. Be sure not to park in the yellow marked zones to avoid being towed (even if there isn't a towing sign posted). Roomy apartment, kitchen equipped with the basics.

Inconvenient to not have anyone on staff there. 2 Blankets and towels were missing and after calling and waiting for the hour we were told it would take, we trusted the items would just be dropped off eventually, which they were. Only when we came back late that night did we realize two pillows were also missing but we opted not to call again. Would be helpful to have extra supplies accessible to guests if no one is available onsite. The little portable stove didn't heat up fast and even after 45 minutes on high, a pot of water didn't boil. But with so many places to eat and mini markets nearby, not a big deal but just good to know. Maybe the mini cooking stove will be replaced soon for the next visitors 😉

The night club Nextdoor plays loud music and there are often disturbances in the street below during the early hours

Location was good as needed to be near the harbour. Apartment was clean.

It was very noisy, so difficult to sleep. On a main road that was busy all night. The hosts need to put better sound proofing glass up. Quite expensive for what it was. We were also not left with the WiFi password.
