We had a great time here, the property is even nicer than the photos! Kitchen was very well-stocked (we definitely over-packed) and the host was communicative. Only nits are that the key wasn’t where we were told it would be and some of the furniture is a little worse for wear. Overall would definitely recommend!

A group of 12 ladies had a ladies retreat there. Except for garbage on the back deck, it was very comfortable. Lots of comfortable beds. Had to contact the owner to get TP and Paper towels as they had not been replenished in the bathrooms and kitchen. I would recommend this house for large groups.

Winter Camp

Winter Camp

We stayed here with our youth group for a weekend to spend winter camp. It plenty of beds and mattresses for our students and with an open layout it never felt like we were crammed for space. We stayed here and went skiing up at Kirkwood, which was less than an hour drive. Very doable and also not too removed from Jackson which has places like Safeway if you need to go into town for some grocery shopping.

A fine property with lots of room and character. Game room in basement a delight and would suggest this for any group needing some room to stretch out in the woods. Only complaint is the shower was pretty short, but I'm 6'8" so used to it. Would definitely use again.

The house is very big so it was a good location for a large group. There were lots of extra mattresses for people to sleep on. Because of how the beds are set up, this would be a fun house to bring your Girl Scouts or a soccer team. A lot of the windows didn't have blinds, so if you like to sleep in, I recommend bringing a sleeping mask. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed to make our meals. The basement had a lot of fun things to play with.

We had an awesome time staying at the house. It was absolutely clean and spacious for our large group. The owner Lisa was very considerate with checkin and checkout times. The kids has so much fun at the house. The pictures posted in Vrbo doesn’t do justice to the house. One minor thing to change would be to add blinds to the windows so as to get a late wake ups. And to fix the lock for master bedroom. These are nothing compared to the amazing fun we had in the house. The place and the owners deserve 5 stars.

As soon as you arrive at the property you will fall in love with the trees and the feeling of being away from everything. The home was absolutely wonderful and so much space for our entire family( and we are a big family). The family/game room downstairs was amazing for the kids to enjoy themselves downstairs while the adults were able to relax and enjoy upstairs. We also were able to take off for apple Hill and had an amazing time which was a beautiful drive there and back. Would definitely recommend this property to any family trying to get away! It’s a must stay! One last note the property and home is more beautiful than the pictures show, you will be impressed.

I stayed here with my toddler, newborn and husband. We had a great time. The property is extremely private which is what we were looking for during this crazy pandemic. The house is really large and very comfortable. Its a great base for a tahoe day trip or just to hang out and enjoy the wilderness. I would love to come back to this great property some time in the future.

My buddy and I took our boys up for a few days of fishing, riding quads and eating. We had 3 boys all 11 and when we were at the cabin they spent all of their time downstairs playing either ping pong, foosball, air hockey or basketball. Place was GREAT!!!!

When we first arrived the owners were there cleaning and were very pleasant. The house was beautiful, did need some updating but that didn't bother us at all. We had a great time cooking dinner and playing games in the game room. It was real quiet and relaxing. The area was beautiful but yet close enough to stores if needed to go.

Spacious, Beautiful, and Clean

This was a great house that we rented for our youth group. It is very spacious and had room for our large group! The pictures do not do any justice to how beautiful the interior is. While we were there the basement was still under construction, but the construct does not hinder the functionality. There is air hockey, ping pong, foosball, and basketball in there! Although the basement is colder than the rest of the house, there is a working furnace to warm the space. The master bedroom is very large, and along with the king bed and double bed in there, it has room for probably 3 more queen beds if needed! The other bedrooms are also spacious, and all 3 rooms have closets that are big enough to have queen beds in them as well if needed. There are lots of bathrooms and although only 2 showers, we had no problem with everyone being able to take showers or running out of hot water. The living room is very large and able to fit our entire group comfortably for morning and evening studies. There is a large TV, lots of board games, and lots of DVDs provided as well, so we were never short on entertainment (especially combined with the basement fun). I was extremely impressed with the kitchen! Cooking for a large group was a breeze with the huge island that's a cutting board, 2 sinks, 2 fridges, and 2 ovens! Also provided was a huge pot (10 quarts?) and lots of other smaller pots, pans, knives, bowls, trays, etc. There are 2 big baking trays and a few other things to use in the oven. For our large group, it would've been nice to have had maybe 2 more big flat baking trays (especially considering that things bake much slower at higher elevations), but all in all it was a tiny thing and did not hinder us from getting food out in time. There are also 2 big coffee makers, a 4 slice toaster, measuring cups, whisks, spatulas, and more! Really this kitchen does not lack in supplies! I was in charge of the cooking and loved the kitchen layout, design, and versatility. The floorplan of the the kitchen and living area is also great because although I was in the kitchen most of the time, I did not feel left out of all the activities in the living room. In regards to seating for eating, obviously there isn't a table that seats 25, but with the big dining table, smaller dining table, and bar most people had seats at a table, and the rest had no problem finding other seats to eat (like by the fireplace). All in all, I have 0 regrets about renting this house!

Nice kitchen, spacious, and with a great fireplace. The master bedroom is beautiful and there is plenty of room for kids. There are a few unfinished areas, but I expect those should be done soon. Even if there isn't snow right outside, the place is only twenty minutes from a snow play area. We had a great time.
