U Mushera

Top accommodatie, Tomas is erg vriendelijk en heeft ons zelfs hout en gereedschap geleend om een mooi vuur te maken!

We had a lovely stay at U Mushera. Tomas, the host is very helpful and respectful. The accomodation is small but has everything you need. The beds are comfortable and I slept great, falling asleep to the sound of crickets. The garden and immediate surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The location is really nice, close to Vrchlabi and stores (5 min to grocery store by car) aswell as places to go swimming in summer and starting points for hikes. I would this discribe it as a farm stay, with the animals and vibe. If you want a sprakly clean,luxurious accomodation, then this is not the place for you. But if you enjoy being close to nature and staying in a place with a lot of character, if you are looking for a place that can bring you moments of quiet to relax and just enjoy whats around you, then I would definitely reccomend booking this one!

The entrance to the house is on the steep side, so keep that in mind. Though the host is very helpful and will probably offer to help with carrying your luggage :)

Thomas is super nice and generous host, willing to help with everything. Our two girls had much fun in the cozy house and the garden as well. Looking at the cats, picking berries, etc. The location is a good starting point to many wonderful hiking areas and other attractions around, and also for a short walk in the close surroundings- very beautiful. Even when there were hot days, the house stayed cool.

The house was a bit unmaintained - not something that a deep dusting and cleaning cant resolve. For us it was ok but if you’re a cleaning-freak, you should know that. The shower has a bit low water pressure, but again, you can rather accept it..unless strong shower is your special love.

Sie war gemütlich und traditionell eingerichtet. Oberflächlich war alles sauber. Im Sommer, bei Trockenheit ein schöner Garten mit Tieren.

Der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus, über einen steilen Hang, der in großen Teilen nicht befestigt, matschig und sehr rutschig war, war anstrengend und gefährlich zu laufen. Beim Saubermachen wurden viele Kleinigkeiten vergessen, Herd, Kaffeemaschine, Haare in der Dusche, Kühlschrank… insgesamt wirkt der wirklich sehr nette Herr etwas überfordert mit diesem historischen Anwesen. Man konnte nicht trockenen Fußes von einer Wohnung zu nächsten wechseln, weil es keine bzw. nur wenige befestigten Wege gibt.
