Hidesign Athens Luxury Apartments in Kolonaki

We stayed here for almost two weeks on a working holiday and the apartment was very well set up for working from home as a couple. We had one extra guest for just a couple of days and that was fine. Location is quiet but a 10 minute walk to the bustling Kolonaki. Great coffee and breakfast from the cafe opposite. Lovely sun on the balcony in the morning.

The bathroom was fine for two people most of the time but might be small if the apartment was at full capacity. The kitchen is also small, but very well equipped.

Beautiful spacious apartment, very clean, we loved the balcony. Well-equipped kitchen. Friendly and responsive hosts available by message whenever we had a question.

Location

We liked the location, but the property was like a fortress. Unlocking the door could take up to five minutes, the locks were a real hassle at the end of a long, hot day. The bathroom was poorly lit, with only one of the two down lighters working, and that flickered on and off constantly. It was very dim in there. There were no instructions provided for the glass cooktop, and when I made the suggestion to the owner/manager that it could be helpful to leave instructions for guests, she was defensive saying in ten years they never had a problem. All we wanted to do was boil an egg, we didn’t need to be criticised because we didn’t know how to operate her particular cooktop. On the upside the sheets were clean.
