Nara House

The room was lovely and clean, the lady at the front desk super smily and sweet and told us about a night market close by. Interesting to see a different side of chiang mai outside the old city, but still with plenty to do in the area (we loved the night market!). Bed was super comfy. We were provided with water, toilet roll, towels etc. nice balcony you can go out onto. Great value for money!

It’s slightly outside the old city so bear that in mind if you want to be in the midst of everything (we didn’t mind). We had to climb a couple flights of stairs to our room which is no problem for us but might be something to consider if you don’t wanna / can’t bring your luggage upstairs on your own.

The Host was so lovely, incredibly welcoming and caring. There was a little bar where you could get included snacks and water which was a lovely touch. Comfy bed and pillows. Two fans which kept the room at a nice temperature. The shower worked well with warm water and good pressure. We came with a motorbike and she was accommodating with us parking it. Great value for money here. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Chiang Mai 🩷

The blanket on the bed was a little small.

very kind lady/host, cosy place, liked the higher ceilings, having a desk, walkable distance to old town, area doesn’t feel that touristy, comfy bed, very close to 7-11/shops and a local market
