Bed and Snow Family Apartments

La ubicación excepcional. La distribución muy buena a pesar de su irregular forma. El aislamiento de ventanas muy bueno en lo térmico y sobretodo acústico. El personal muy comunicativo y atento a las preguntas y dudas surgidas.

Simplemente el telefonillo de la ducha emitía ruido desagradable al ducharse. El sofá bastante incómodo para sentarse.

Situación

Location was excellent. The property is located right in the middle of the main plaza; lots of shops, restaurants etc on the doorstep and the gondolas are just a short walk away. That was the best thing about this property. We also thought the staff in the Bed and Snow office were very welcoming and helpful, 10/10 for them. They were happy for you to message them if there was a problem or you needed help. They sorted all our lift passes and ski hire which was great. Beds were comfy, it was slightly odd not having a window in the bedroom but the bed itself was comfortable and we all slept well.

Unfortunately there were a few issues which we didn’t expect given the cost of the apartment, it was quite expensive for what it was. The apartment was quite dated, the grout in between the tiles in the bathroom was a little black in places. It could do with a bit of a revamp. The only window in the property is the Juliette balcony which we didn’t want to leave open while we were out, and it was too cold to leave it open in the evening/overnight. There is just a plastic trough in the living area for storing ski equipment - after a couple of days the apartment started to smell a bit musty which we think is down to having wet ski equipment and a puddle of water in the bottom of the trough. Perhaps somewhere to store ski gear would be helpful; lockers or something in the building so that you didn’t have to take them to the apartment. We also experienced issues with the hot water. We were told on arrival that the tank would provide 100 litres of hot water and we would then need to wait half an hour before it warmed up enough to use more. Unfortunately, we could barely fill half the bath before the hot water ran out and we found it took much longer than 30 minutes to heat back up again. We ended up boiling water in the kettle and in two pans on the hob to top the bath up. This was a real pain and took about 6-8 rounds of kettle and pan efforts to get the bath nice and warm and fuller. The hair dryer would work for about one minute and then turn itself off. I had to wait a few minutes before it would start working again. So unfortunately it took absolutely ages to dry my hair.
