New Opening Villa Oasis Terramar

This is our second trip to Sitges and the town is wonderful - super selection of beaches, restaurants and a relaxed, care free vibe. The Villa is well situated, 10 minutes from the beach front, 15 minutes from shopping/dining centre. The layout of the villa is excellent, with ample space for 6/8 people to live comfortably (we were a group of 3 adults and 3 teen lads). The pool, although small, is good enough for a dip and perfect for younger children. The outside area is ideal, with a shaded dining table and covered seating area and allows you to spend time at the villa during the hotter parts of the day. It served us well as a convenient base for a week spent in the local area.

The Villa needs some TLC. The title "New Opening" suggests renovation and revamp. This does not appear to have happened in recent years. A good proportion of the seating needs replacing, both inside and outside (stained sofas, rickety outside chairs), the decking is warped and in some places had lifted completely - good job we had a Swiss army pen knife with us to secure a loose board! A large crack in one of the lounge windows needs attention.The lack of functioning air conditioning units on the top floor is an issue and unfortunately the portable unit provided was exceptionally noisy. Thankfully the extra room downstairs provided an easy escape for our sons from the heat upstairs. The kitchen size and cupboard space is excellent, but the selection of equipment is a bit hit and miss. The fridge needs repairing/replacing due to a tendency to overheat and the toaster didn't work at all. Lately, the villa was functionally clean, but not meticulous: the remnants of previous guests was found under beds, in drawers, down the sides of sofas.

Great location to beach and bars and restaurants. Good communication with staff and owner. Pool is small but adequate. Nice shaded area in the garden to sit with friends furniture could be updated. AC nice as it was really warm. No AC in top bedroom with bunk beds. Could do with some extra mirrors. Late check out was amazing as we had a late flight. Really good fast delivery service from supermarket through Glovo app as it was a 20 min walk would definitely recommend this if buying a big shop. Taxis hard to get so recommend walking to Hotel Sitges to order 2 mins away. Overall would recommend for location if you dont want to hire a car.

Great location - quiet but very convenient for the beach. Close enough to Barcelona to spend a couple of days sight-seeing but with plenty to do in Sitges too.
