Great small appartment super close to city centre with all the amendities one might need.

The host made a last minute change for me into a larger unit near where i was originally booked. She was very accommodating and helpful. Immediate response time. Located very handy to train station, beauiful parks, restaurants, stores, and local transit hub. All in walking distance. Felt very safe. As I type this i miss the neighbourhood!

I would have liked two keys to the apartment door so if my travel partner and i separated we could get back into apartment. It turned out not to be an issue, though< as we stayed together and it wasn't inconvenient. (Note that I didn't ask for second key so host wasn't aware.)

The property is in a very good location! The owner/host is an extremely lovely and helpful and accommodating lady, so it does pain me to leave a slightly negative review. The kitchenette was equipped with basic condiments such as salt and pepper, herbs and spices and olive oil, which was a nice touch. The place was overall clean. The heating and shower are easy to control - no obscure or complicated equipment.

The entrance to the flats feels unsafe, although it seems that many properties in Zagreb have the same kind of entrance where the front door of the building is left open! The apartment is very noisy, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who needs some peace and quiet. You can hear the people in the same apartments very clearly as the doors and walls have zero soundproofing. One of the two hobs in the kitchenette doesn't work, and although the room was clean, it is in desperate need of refurbishment. The room also looks larger on the pictures than it does in real life.
