We loved the well cared for fattoria and gained a new family during our stay!
Having been to Italy before, I wanted a different experience while visiting family in Montefiascone. A working fattoria not only intrigued me but it exceeded my family's expectations. Living among small farm animals, and beautifully landscaped vines and fresh produce was an experience we will never forget. Being presented with their own homemade olive oil and wine, as well as a tour of the their caves on property were added bonuses. If we got too hot, there is an immaculately clean pool equipped with plenty of chairs and towels. But the best part of our stay were the hosts, Michele and Silvia. They treated us truly like family. No request was too much for them, and not only were they accommodating, but anyone they sent us to were the same way. They were always there for us on property, willing to make our experience the best it could be. We had the "Casella" and it was clean, roomy and had comfortable beds. There was an outside space were we could eat, with a gorgeous view of the town, including the town's famous Duomo. Michele was kind enough to give us a tour of not only their unique caves, but each accommodation as well. Each one was unique and I would stay in any one of them. Not only did we find a place to stay, we found memories that will last a lifetime and FAMILY!!! I can't wait to see Michele and Silvia again!!
There was really nothing that I did not like. It had far more conveniences than I have had in Italy, including a washer and comfortable beds. The only thing I did not like was that we did not stay long enough!!

We stayed in ”Il Casale” and We can really recommend this place- you have your own garden and barbeque,sunbeds etc. So it feels like you have your own independent house with pool but you have the best guides right there next to you if you want to have a recommendation for a place to see or a place to eat. Very, very nice place!!🤗

Prachtige rustige locatie net buiten Montifiascone. Ideaal om Lazio te verkennen, een dagje naar Rome te gaan of een dagje naar het strand of het Bolsena meer. Lazio is een hele mooie authentieke provincie met prachtige plekken.
