Casa do Sobro

This property is very unique with hundreds of interested ornaments, lamps and pictures. The bedrooms are high quality and well decorated with excellent air conditioning. The showers were good quality. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing and the grounds were huge. The games really helped with keeping us all entertained. The property has secure parking and is fully secured with electric gates so always felt safe even though it was secluded. The village has a number of good restaurants within walking distance and are really reasonable in price. We also visited the butcher and grocer all good quality. The butcher spoke excellent English and was very accommodating. We were let into the property by the housekeeper who was lovely and she also came to collect the keys from us when leaving.

It is worth noting that the bedrooms both have separate access doors and do not connect which could be a problem if you had younger children , also the kitchen area and lounge area are all separate buildings and are not connected which is unique but can be a little more challenging to live with. The advertising states car charging facilities but in theory this is an outdoor plug - just to note . Finally some areas could have been a little cleaner on arrival- fridge - cobwebs in bedroom and bathroom. Oh ands take the insect repellent as there are plenty of bugs- to be expected with all those lush gardens around the pool

Very nice place, perfect to relax. Everything was clear and you have many activities like pool, table tennis. If you have a problem or something, you can text the housekeeper or the owner.
