Nice hotel.

Very disappointed spa is not included in the price of the stay. Also, incredibly small parking that you need to pay for but cannot be assured there will be space. Wouldn’t stay again.

Restfull weekend with great spa in Klaipėda old town

Outstanding very authentic hotel. Friendly staff, nice rooms, great breakfast and amazing spa. Yes, it’s needed to pay extra for the spa, but payment is for 24hours acces so it is worh it. Very recommend ti visit!

Home, away from home! Total relax

Amazing location, tasteful interior, comfortable bed and bidet in a bathroom was a real jolly! All day access to spa makes the stay totally relaxing! Reception ladies were very kind and very helpful. Biscuits and apples around the property was a really nice hospitality touch, which makes you feel at home! Entire property is very cosy, quiet and very welcoming.

A historic hotel located conveniently with a helpful staff to assist.

The staff at the Michaelson were very friendly and helpful, especially Evelin who took care of an issue with our room quickly and with a smile. The location of the hotel was good for seeing the sights of Klaipeda.

The rooms on the top floor have beams that are low and that are located where one can hit their head easily.

A great place to stay in Klaipeda, especially if you'll be using the foot ferry a few times.

The room was clean and modern. The shower was excellent. The location was great, especially for the foot ferry and the old town. The hotel was calm and tranquil, and the character of the building was interesting and made it special to stay in.

There ought to have been a kettle for making tea. I'm not interested in a minibar or EUR20 bottle of wine and would prefer to not have these in my room. The breakfast was too expensive to contemplate, and spa membership too inflexible to be of use (needs to be available earlier and later, and to be able to be booked for shorter durations and for less money).

Beautiful spa break.

Beautifully renovated barn conversion. The room was spacious and comfortable with modern appliances and additional extras, such as underfloor heating and speakers in the bathroom. The spa facilities were high spec and a peaceful retreat.

No restaurant or bar at the property, which was not an issue but would make a nice addition.

Perfect seaside escape.

Everything. This was by far the best hotel we've stayed at so far. The staff were very welcoming. The room was cosy but classy. The bathroom was quite large and the shower was a really roomy walk-in/wet room style which was great. We visited the spa which is simple, but has everything you could want as well as complimentary refreshments (tea etc). Breakfast is pre-ordered with a waited table service (not a banquet style), but we actually prefered this as our breakfasts were individually prepared for us which I feel is much nicer than standing around an industrial toaster with a bunch of sleepy Germans. One thing that made the hotel stand out for us was the lack of children. It was really nice not to have other people's kids running around everywhere when you are trying to relax, I really wish there were more spas like this. The hotel is also well situated for the old town, Klaipeda Castle, and for the passenger ferry for the Curonian Spit, but not so close that there is any loud sound; It was a very quiet location.

Nothing could be improved. I saw some other comments about temperature in the rooms. Yes, it's true there's no aircon. However, we visited when it was 26 degrees c outside and we slept just fine without needing to open the window or use the fan that was provided. The other thing people didn't like was that it's not so kid freindly, but for a childless couple like us that was a huge advantage.

It was very new, clean, great location, comfy bed, swimming pool and sauna area is very nice and not too many people.

The noise in the corridor is not isolated. Could have kettle in the room.

Location, clean rooms

Rooms were cold, breakfast pricey(20 euro per person, consisting of one cold, one hot meal and two drinks. Anything above for extra cost, SPA is for additional pay, for whole family of 4 people it was 120 euros just for sauna and swimming pool. Hotel positions itself as a SPA hotel however SPA was in a next building and for additional cost. Kids were allowed to access SPA facilities only from 8 am to 2 pm which was really weird.

Nothing much. Breakfast staff was nice and polite

Reception lady was extremely rude during the check in. I am diebetic and need to store my medication in cold place and when I politely asked her whether there was a fridge in the room the answer was the following "what kind of stupid question is this?". My whole family was shocked by her rudeness. She should not be working in any hospitality establishment anywhere in the world!n

Beautiful building, right by the river. The breakfast is honestly better than we expected and we expected great things looking at the reviews.

We were supposed to have a view on the castle site... but don't expect to see a castle, it is a mound of grass :D

Staff is the best. Room was clean. Parking in front.

Room was utterly cold. Since room was in the attic, half bed was practically useless, beause of low ceiling. We should have been warned about it. Room was small, or at least not used wisely.

Very cosy

Heated bathroom floor was amazing. The bathroom in general was very comfortable and nice. Breakfast was tasty, you could choose from the menu in the evening. Room was very cosy.

It was warm in the bathroom but a bit cold for me (fine for my boyfriend) in the room. I asked for an extra blanket and it was good. Guy in the reception could give a bit more details about everything.
